BHAKTI VICHAR ENGLISH CHAPTER NO. 04

Compilation by GOD's grace - Chandrasekhar Karwa
Our mission - Spread of devotion of GOD
No. BHAKTI VICHAR
001. Just as a drop of water merges into the ocean and its own existence ends, similarly, in devotion, we have to merge our own self into GOD. Saints call this very state of intense meditation (Samadhi).
002. One should never describe or boast about their devotion before anyone, not even before GOD while sitting in a temple, because this gives birth to ego, which GOD does not like.
003. When GOD disappeared from the Shri Raas, the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) became so restless to find Him that they asked whoever they met on the path about Him. They asked the trees, vines, animals and birds about GOD.
004. A devotee searches for GOD everywhere and strives to see GOD in everything.
005. We should call out to GOD with restlessness and yearning.
006. The honor of the soul with whom GOD performs Shri Raas increases in the entire universe.
007. For the sake of His divine play (Leela), a subtle ego arose in the minds of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) during Shri Raas about how superior they were, and GOD disappeared from among them. This incident happened to tell us how much even a little ego in the hearts of devotees and loved ones is disliked by GOD.
008. After the experience of GOD, if for any reason GOD gives even a little separation, the devotee’s restlessness and patience cross all limits.
009. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) became so restless in the separation from GOD that they began to follow His Divine pastimes (Shri Leelas). They became absorbed in GOD and began to act out and follow various Divine pastimes of GOD Shree Krishnaji by becoming Him themselves. In this way, even in the time of separation, their constant research and contemplation of GOD continued.
010. Just as when someone loses a very important object, they search for it everywhere and ask everyone about it, similarly, after having the experience and a glimpse of GOD, when GOD gives separation to the devotee, such restlessness is created in the devotee that they search for GOD everywhere in the world. Because of this, their research for GOD increases, and their devotion continues to grow.
011. The very life-force of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD), GOD Himself, had disappeared from the Shri Raas, therefore, they began to constantly search for Him everywhere.
012. A devotee puts their entire life at stake desiring the experience of GOD.
013. Saint Shri Ramakrishnaji Paramhans used to say that I have not learned the knowledge of earning bread and butter, I have learned the knowledge of attaining GOD.
014. A devotee’s search for GOD always continues.
015. A devotee is always eager for the vision of the real-life incarnation (Sagun Saakar form) of GOD.
016. The devotion of Saint Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansji had reached such a high state that when he sat to worship Bhagwati Kali Mata, he would see the Mother within himself. Then he would start worshipping his own self, wear the garland himself, apply the tilak and eat the prasad. We cannot even imagine such a state of supreme devotion.
017. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) followed the Divine pastimes (Shri Leelas) of GOD with total absorption.
018. On searching for GOD with restlessness, people of all religions and all sects experience GOD because GOD is the Supreme Father of everyone and is always available for everyone.
019. GOD Shree Krishnaji of the Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran is not the GOD Shree Krishnaji of history, He is the GOD Shree Krishnaji of the present and the eternal.
020. Devotees search only for GOD, just as when we are thirsty, we search only for water, even if gold is lying nearby, our hand moves only toward water.
021. The experience of GOD is possible only through devotion performed with intensity.
022. GOD is not attained through ordinary devotion, He is attained only through intense devotion. Therefore, intensity in devotion is very important.
023. As more intensity comes into devotion, the distance between GOD and the devotee will continue to decrease.
024. There is no such rule as to how many chants and in how many years GOD is attained. The principle is that GOD is attained only through intense devotion.
025. When saints describe the intensity of the love of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD), they call it the most intense because more than that is not even possible.
026. The intensity of the love and devotion of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) can be estimated from the fact that those Gopis who were not allowed to leave home for Shri Raas left their bodies and went in soul-form (Aatma-roop). This shows the intensity of their love and devotion.
027. At every bell of the Aarti (prayer), Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansji used to say to Bhagwati Kali Mata that one more day of life has passed, and Mother, I haven't had your vision. There was such intensity in his devotion.
028. Having extreme intensity in devotion is most necessary. There should be such intensity within us that another day has passed and we have not found GOD. If this feeling of "when will I find GOD" does not come repeatedly in life, then our devotion is not meaningful.
029. Usually, we undertake devotion with the feeling that it is fine if we find GOD, and fine if we do not. In this feeling, there is a very great lack of intensity of devotion.
030. When GOD disappeared from the Shri Raas, the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) looked at every single leaf and every single flower, hoping that they might experience GOD somewhere among them. They asked every single non-living (Jad) object about GOD too. Such was the intensity of GOD-union in them.
031. A true devotee does not want anything from GOD, he only wants GOD Himself.
032. When GOD disappeared from the Shri Raas and the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) started wandering in search of Him, they did not have the vision of GOD, but they had the vision of the signs of His Divine Lotus Feet, just by this, the Gopis were filled with enthusiasm. The principle of this incident is that the mere vision of the signs of GOD provides extreme enthusiasm to the devotee.
033. We have the vision of the signs of GOD only when an intense desire to see them is awakened in our mind.
034. GOD talks daily with His devotees. GOD Shree Vitthalji used to talk with Saint Shri Namdevji and Bhagwati Kali Mata used to talk daily with Saint Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansji.
035. To a non-devotee, a stone idol of GOD is visible, but to a devotee, GOD is visible in that very idol.
036. GOD is not attained by anyone without simplicity. True devotees have simplicity like small children.
037. The more our mind is engaged in the world, the more sorrow will come and cling to us and the more vices will be awakened within us. Therefore, we should remove our mind from the world and engage it in GOD.
038. More important than going to Shri Gokulji with the body is that we go to Shri Gokulji with the mind.
039. Engaging one's conscience in GOD is the highest meditation.
040. The saints who live in the Shri Gopi bhav are able to enter the group of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD), and in this way, find the constant contiguity of GOD.
041. One should keep oneself immersed in the devotional feeling of GOD throughout the day - this is the highest devotion.
042. Chanting of names (Naamjap), Kirtan and meditation are all ladders to ascend in the devotional feeling for GOD.
043. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) always used to wear the dust of GOD’s Divine Lotus Feet on their foreheads. Such amazing love for GOD was within them.
044. How much love the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) had for GOD that when they searched for Him after He disappeared from Shri Raas, they walked while protecting (avoiding stepping on) the signs of GOD's Divine Lotus Feet. In the Shri Ramayanji as well, when Shri Lakshmanji walked during the exile, he used to walk while protecting the signs of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD Shree Ramji and Bhagwati Janaki Mata. The feeling of devotees is that their foot should not touch the signs of GOD's Divine Lotus Feet even by mistake, because only their forehead should always be placed there.
045. Devotees have to move forward with great caution in devotion.
046. Devotion of show or hypocrisy should never happen.
047. The greater our restlessness for GOD, the more GOD will provide us with His contiguity.
048. In the entire Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran, GOD Shri Shukdevji did not take the names of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) and Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata. Explaining this, saints say that GOD Shri Shukdevji considers the Gopis as his Guru (Master), therefore, he does not take his Master's name because it results in sin.
049. Regarding how one should love GOD and like whom, Devershi GOD Shri Naradji says to leave everything and only follow the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD).
050. Bhagwati Yashoda Mata performed parental devotion (Vatsalya bhakti), the Gopis performed sweet devotion (Madhurya bhakti) and GOD Shree Hanumanji performed servant devotion (Das bhakti). These are the three pinnacles of their respective types of devotion.
051. In the feeling of sweet devotion (Madhurya bhaav), Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata is the foremost. She is the pinnacle of this type of devotion.
052. Due to being the most beloved of GOD, Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata is the most worshipful for saints and devotees.
053. Due to being the true worshipper (Aradhika) of GOD, the Mother was named Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata.
054. Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata serves GOD, and GOD serves Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata.
055. GOD saves His devotees in adversity and even lifts them in His lap during times of trouble.
056. Look at the fortune of the saints of Brijmandal, that they keep their lives entangled between the Divine Lotus Feet of Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata and GOD. What could be a greater fortune than this. This is the supreme state, therefore, the one whose life passes in this way is the most blessed.
057. Saint Shri Gyaneshwarji was asked whether GOD is primary or the Mata is primary, he replied by asking to first determine if the two are even separate. The principle of this incident is that those who have the grace of GOD do not see different forms of GOD as two, but see them as one.
058. GOD Shree Hanumanji saw GOD Shree Ramji and Bhagwati Janaki Mata as one, and therefore he said that he salutes the Shri Yugalcharan (the Feet of the Divine Couple). He always considered the Shri Yugalcharan of Shree Sitaramji as a single Divine Lotus Feet.
059. Saints believe that GOD Shree Krishnaji and Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata remain absorbed only in the contemplation of each other.
060. Shree Shiva enters Shree Shakti and Shree Shakti enters Shree Shiva. In this way, it is not even known who is the part (Ansh) and who is the whole (Anshi).
061. Despite GOD and the Mata being equal, the devotee's mind goes toward Mata because Mata is the Giver of Devotion (Bhakti-datri), and by providing devotion, She leads us to GOD.
062. Just as when a child wants something or has committed an offense, the child first tells their worldly mother, and the mother fulfills the desire or gets them forgiven for the offense by talking to the child's father, similarly, all the saints of the world go to the GODDESS Mata with their heart's desire because they know that only the GODDESS Mata can facilitate GOD-realization.
063. Just as in need, pain or adversity, children first remember the worldly mother for help, similarly, saints and devotees first remember the GODDESS Mata.
064. Goswami Shri Tulsidasji used to worship GOD Shree Ramji, but for the right of devotion for GOD, he used to take shelter in Bhagwati Janaki Mata. He used to tell Bhagwati Janaki Mata to awaken the compassion of GOD and, seeing the opportunity, convey the request (Ardas) of Tulsidas to GOD.
065. When GOD Shree Ramji praised GOD Shree Hanumanji, it was His final test. Here, the rise of ego was natural because GOD whom the whole world praises was praising GOD Shree Hanumanji with His own divine mouth in front of everyone. On such an occasion, GOD Shree Hanumanji showed what should be done and fell at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, and did not get up even when GOD lifted Him. He said that GOD should protect Me because escaping ego is not within the control of a living being, it is possible only through the grace of GOD. Due to such a feeling and accepting such surrender, GOD Shree Hanumanji was able to avoid ego and fully passed the final test in the form of ego.
066. GOD also gives His devotees some time of separation to strengthen their devotion.
067. Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata is the beloved of GOD, meaning the most beloved among the beloveds.
068. The heart of the Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran is the Tenth Canto. The life-force of the Tenth Canto is the Raspanchadhyayi, and the life-force of the Raspanchadhyayi is the song of separation sung by the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD), which we call Gopigeet. This is the most auspicious song in the world because saints have considered Gopigeet as the best in the Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran.
069. It is an eternal principle that as soon as ego arises in our life, GOD disappears from our life.
070. Merging into the ocean of the Supreme Soul is called Samadhi (a state of intense meditation).
071. In the Samadhi (a state of intense meditation) engaged in the meditation of GOD, an experience of supreme ecstasy is felt.
072. When we renounce physical pleasures in our life, we will attain inner elated ecstasy.
073. As long as "I" meaning ego remains within us, we cannot have the full realization of GOD.
074. If GOD gave separation (Viyog) to the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD), that too was given to result back in union (Sanyog). Only by the grace of GOD does a soul experience separation from GOD, so that the restlessness and investigative search (Anusandhan) to find GOD increases in the soul, and then the union with GOD can happen.
075. Illusion (Maya) exists to distance the soul from GOD. The work of Maya is precisely this - it distances the soul from GOD.
076. Upon becoming intensely absorbed in the investigative search (Anusandhan) of GOD, we forget even our "I" meaning our own existence.
077. No matter how much prayer (Puja) or spiritual practice we do with the body, or how much merit (Punya) we earn, in exchange for that, we will get heaven for some time and then a good birth, but we will not be able to get out of the cycle of repeated birth and repeated death. Only through the loving devotion (Premabhakti) of GOD, when GOD-realization happens in life, will we be able to be free from the cycle of birth and death forever.
078. Our mind should become GOD-absorbed, our conscience should become GOD-absorbed, and every movement of our life should be for GOD. Such was the state attained by the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) for GOD.
079. Upon complete absorption in GOD, one loses awareness of the self and self-forgetfulness occurs. This is the state where saints and devotees reach.
080. Without intense devotion, no other spiritual practice (Saadhan) performed can ever lead us to the attainment of GOD.
081. Shri Gopigeet is the immortal song of the world. It is supreme and is the Shri Gangotri of songs (the pure, originating source).
082. In the world, one should not love anyone as much as one should love GOD.
083. Even Shri Vaikunth (GOD's abode) does not possess the superiority that Shri Brijmandal does, because it is the actual site of GOD’s Divine pastimes.
084. Wherever GOD goes, Bhagwati Lakshmi Mata comes first to make all resources available to Him. Bhagwati Lakshmi Mata used to roam in Shri Brijmandal day and night and provided all the means required by the residents of Brij for their devotion and service to GOD.
085. In separation from GOD, the devotee holds onto their life force only because they maintain the hope of union with GOD again.
086. Devotees hold onto their life only for the sake of GOD.
087. Saints and devotees hold onto their life until the end only for the sake of GOD-realization.
088. Every action in the lives of saints and devotees is done with the objective of GOD-realization.
089. In the Scriptures, GOD has said that even GOD comes to behold His devotees through the medium of GOD-realization. By saying this, GOD has given such great honor to the devotees.
090. The glory of Shri Brij is because GOD resides there. We too should make our heart Shri Brij so that GOD may reside in it, only then is the glory of our heart.
091. The soul's only goal in life should be the attainment of GOD and the attainment of GOD's love.
092. In the most divine, beautiful and supernatural form of GOD, His eyes are the most influential and captivating.
093. GOD loves the soul the most. No one is more skilled than GOD in giving love.
094. GOD runs our life by giving His power. There is this infinite grace of GOD on every soul. All the activities happening within us run only by the power of GOD.
095. By the grace-power of GOD, our eyes see, our speech speaks and our heart beats.
096. Only the grace-power of GOD works in the operation of our life-force (Prana), heart and brain, but only true devotees can recognize this fact. Shri Dhruvaji recognized this during his praise of GOD, and the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) recognized this while singing Shri Gopigeet.
097. When trapped in crisis, only GOD always brings the devotees out of danger. This is GOD's vow that He will protect His devotees in every situation.
098. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) remember where GOD saved them and where He protected them. Do we also daily remember the instances of GOD’s grace in our lives.
099. We should check whether we ever count and remember the grace of GOD in our life. On how many occasions has GOD saved and brought us out of worldly crises and the crises of vices (Vikars), but we forget all this.
100. We should bring the Gopi-mood (Gopi-bhaav) into our lives and should always keep remembering the grace of GOD in our lives.
101. Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran is the greatest Holy text that ends the fear of death. GOD Shri Shukdevji made King Shri Parikshitji listen to Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran, and his fear of death vanished.
102. A living being has to make an effort toward the destruction of vices from life, but no vice is destroyed without the grace of GOD - this is an eternal principle. To destroy vices, on one hand, there should be the manhood of the living being, and on the other hand, there should be the grace of GOD, only then is the destruction of vices from life possible.
103. No matter how many incidents of delusion, ignorance, fear or adversity come into life, GOD has brought us out of all those crises. Always remembering every grace of GOD in life - this alone is the Gopi-mood (Gopi-bhaav).
104. The Divine element resides in the conscience of every living being.
105. GOD takes an incarnation to give elated ecstasy to the devotees. Such is the saint's explanation of the incarnation of GOD.
106. Even when the world and its pleasures are fully available, devotees leave them and turn toward GOD because the attraction of GOD is so immense.
107. Even while young, if someone can see their own old age, the fading light of their eyes, their falling teeth, the inherent suffering of birth and death, old age and disease and begins to walk carefully on the path of GOD, that soul should be considered truly fortunate. It should be understood that the grace of GOD has descended upon them.
108. Whoever holds GOD’s hand in life will surely cross the ocean of existence.
109. The emergence of a fear of the world is actually beneficial for the soul, because seeing fear everywhere, the soul takes shelter of GOD. It is an eternal principle that only GOD can grant true fearlessness.
110. To become fearless and undaunted, one must take the shelter of GOD, there is no other alternative.
111. The Divine Lotus Hands (Shri Karkamal) of GOD fulfill the desires of those who seek worldly fulfillments.
112. The Divine Lotus Hands (Shri Karkamal) of GOD also cause the dissolution of a devotee's desires and completely destroy their desires.
113. It is an eternal principle that whoever comes under the shadow of the Divine Lotus Hands (Shri Karkamal) of GOD attains certain welfare and salvation.
114. When GOD looks at a soul and smiles with grace, that soul's ego, the biggest obstacle in meeting GOD, is destroyed at that very moment.
115. Devotees do not wish to do anything without the command of GOD.
116. Devotees are the un-priced servants (Ashulk Das) of GOD, meaning they are servants who serve without a price.
117. As much as we meditate on the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, have their vision (Darshan) of it, and place our head at those Divine Lotus Feet, the destruction of our sins will be certain.
118. Even for those who desire grandeur and opulence (Vaibhav and Aishwarya), the glory of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD is infinite. Bhagwati Lakshmi Mata serves the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD daily, therefore, those who place their head at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD receive the grace of Bhagwati Lakshmi Mata.
119. The glory of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD is also known from the fact that GOD Shri Yamrajji, in the context of Shri Ajamilji in the Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran, told his messengers (Yamdoot) to definitely catch and bring those people to hell who do not perform full prostration (Sashtang Dandavat Pranam) at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD even once a day.
120. Only by contemplating the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD are sins destroyed, which brings liberation from the fear of hell. GOD Shri Yamrajji Himself said this to His messengers (Yamdoot).
121. One should remember the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD and the beginning of devotion should start right from there.
122. While meditating on GOD, one should reach the Divine face by meditating on every single Divine body part of GOD, starting from the Divine Lotus Feet and moving upward.
123. The Divine Lotus Feet of GOD are the primary support and the most useful shelter for devotees.
124. Bhagwati Ganga Mata has the power to destroy sins because She emerged from the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. This makes it clear that the glory of the Divine Lotus Feet is infinite, as they possess the boundless power to destroy sins.
125. Shri Bhagirathji had to pray only once to GOD Shree Mahadevji, and GOD Shree Mahadevji stood ready, as if waiting, to bear the nectar-water of the Divine Lotus Feet upon His head. GOD Shree Mahadevji considered Himself purified by bearing that nectar-water. This is being said by GOD Shree Mahadevji, who is the GOD of GODS and the pinnacle of purity.
126. The vision and contemplation of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD destroy all the vices of our life.
127. The glory of GOD’s speech is also wonderful. In the whole world, there is no other teaching as accurate and beneficial as the teaching of Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji. Similarly, the teaching given by GOD to Shri Uddhavji in the eleventh canto of Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran is also supernatural.
128. GOD loves His devotees so much that He says to Shri Arjunji, that I swear an oath that I love you so much that I cannot even describe it.
129. One should dedicate one's life to the command of GOD. Day and night, one should keep following only the command of GOD in life.
130. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) say to GOD that only You (GOD) must bring us out of the swamp of ego now. Only GOD can save a soul from the ego.
131. We should always stay away from worldly materialism because this materialism surely destroys us.
132. Devotion is a practice equivalent to nectar.
133. Until GOD is met in life, one should continuously drink the nectar of Holy pastimes (Katha).
134. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD does the greatest favor for the soul because it creates love for GOD in the heart.
135. The devotion of GOD provides as much peace to the heart of a soul as no other means can.
136. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD provides depth to the service of GOD in our life because GOD begins to feel like our own.
137. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD is the best means to liberate simple-hearted people. Even the most superior sages, saints, great souls and scholars ultimately delight only in the Holy pastimes of GOD.
138. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD is considered equivalent to nectar because it is such a nectar that awakens devotion within us, makes it immortal and kills the world (materialism) within us.
139. For those who stay away from the Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD, there is only one word in the Scriptures that they are unfortunate.
140. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD works to wash away all our sins.
141. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD provides us with both external and internal grandeur.
142. One who tells people about GOD and gives the gift of Divine love is considered supreme in the Scriptures.
143. Giving the gift of Divine love is supreme. This is the greatest donation in the world, this principle was revealed by the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) in their song (geet).
144. Donating food, water and education is good, but the most supreme donation is the gift of Divine love. This is why all saints bring the words of GOD to the people, because it provides a solution not just for one birth, but for lifetimes.
145. Awakening love for GOD in someone’s heart is the highest act, because a soul wanders through various species (Yonis) only because it does not love GOD and does not belong to Him.
146. All devotees and saints have given only the gift of Divine love of GOD in their lives.
147. The gift of devotion is the greatest donation and is called the crown jewel among all charities. With the donation of food and water, you can quench someone’s hunger and thirst for a moment. With the gift of education, you can make them capable of self-sustenance and improve one lifetime. But through the gift of devotion, we can free a soul from the bond of 8.4 million births forever.
148. For one whose eyes have never shed a tear, devotion of GOD makes the tears of love flow from their eyes for GOD.
149. If we establish someone’s relationship with GOD, it is considered the most supreme task in the Scriptures.
150. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) say that there can be no donation greater than the gift of devotion of GOD, and there can be no donor greater than such a giver in the world.
151. One who awakens love for GOD in someone's heart and brings them onto the Divine path performs the permanent welfare of that soul. Therefore, there is no donor greater than them.
152. The feeling of ego in the form of vices is the biggest obstacle in the attainment of GOD.
153. The mind always needs the support of the conscious GOD.
154. If there is mind, there is the world, and if we merge the mind into GOD, then the mind leaves the world.
155. To extract the mind from the world and intensely apply it to GOD is devotion.
156. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) forgot their world, their home and even their own body because their mind became absorbed in GOD.
157. The more our mind is immersed in the world, the more non-living (Jad) it will become. The more our mind is immersed in GOD, the more living (Cheten) it will become.
158. The more restlessness (Vyakulta) there is in the mind for GOD, the more the world will fade away. This does not have to be done, it will happen on its own.
159. Holy pastimes (Katha) is a primary means to create restlessness (Vyakulta) for GOD in the mind.
160. Holy pastimes (Katha) awakens auspicious devotion of GOD in our heart.
161. Shri Dhruvji said in his prayer to GOD that the great souls (Mahatmas) who donate devotion in the whole world are the greatest, and may GOD grant him the opportunity to serve such great souls.
162. Creating a flow of devotion in someone's life is considered the greatest donation.
163. One who makes the flow of devotion flow in someone's life does not have to worry about their own salvation, because their salvation happens automatically.
164. The words of all devotees may be different, but their feeling (Bhav) for GOD will be found to be the same, because everyone has experienced the same feeling in the realization of GOD.
165. If the bliss of devotion simply keeps rising in life, then this is the greatest achievement of life.
166. As long as union (Yog) with GOD does not happen and there is separation (Viyog), the Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD is the best basis for living life.
167. By coming to the Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD, worldly health is improved and spiritual health is also improved.
168. The physical ailments (Vyadhi) and mental distress (Adhi) of the masses are all cured by the Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD, such is the experience of all saints.
169. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD takes us all the way from the improvement of physical and mental health to ultimate salvation (Jivan Mukti).
170. Saints, great souls (Mahatmas) and devotees continuously listen to the Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD for the pure joy of their own minds.
171. The propagation of devotion of GOD by saints is for the welfare of all.
172. The saints who are deeply absorbed in intense devotion to GOD, whatever they speak becomes Divine dialogue (Hari-Katha) itself. They do not even need to sit on a formal speaker's seat (Vyaspeeth) to deliver a discourse, because their entire life becomes filled with Divine discussion and Divine dialogue. They never engage in any discussion or talk in life other than about GOD.
173. In the life of a true saint, the contemplation and remembrance of GOD continue constantly.
174. In whatever language a faithful feeling for GOD reaches us, it should be accepted, because the feeling (Bhav) is the true fruit and language is merely a platter used to serve that feeling. Whichever platter the fruit arrives in, that platter is not important, rather, the fruit that has come inside it is what is important.
175. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD makes our life beautiful and graceful.
176. The true grandeur of devotees is their detachment (from the world).
177. The greatest wealth of saints is their absorption in GOD. Saints consider this alone as their greatest wealth.
178. Far greater than external prosperity, meaning worldly wealth, is the grandeur of the conscience, which means absorption in GOD.
179. The feeling of absorption in GOD can be awakened only in that soul upon whom GOD bestows His grace. This can happen to people of any religion or any sect.
180. Holy discourse (Satsang) means discussion of GOD, dialogue about GOD. Whatever is said or heard for GOD, this alone is the true meaning of Holy discourse. Anything that happens other than the discussion of GOD or dialogue about GOD is not Holy discourse.
181. Trust in GOD should be exactly like that of a child who laughs and does not fear even if you toss them into the air, because they know that you will catch them and not let them fall.
182. There is immense power in devotion, devotion makes even the independent GOD dependent on the devotee.
183. The power of devotion is so wonderful that it makes even GOD bonded to His devotees.
184. When GOD bestows extreme grace upon someone, He does not give them wealth and property that will ultimately perish, but rather He gives them His own devotion.
185. GOD grants salvation quickly, but He never gives devotion easily.
186. GOD knows that if He gives devotion to a soul, He might even have to become the attendant of that devotee. There are countless such examples where GOD became the attendant of His devotees and served them.
187. Devotion binds even the independent GOD in the bond of love.
188. There can be no greater achievement in human life than devotion.
189. Devotion is possible only in human life, therefore, when we attain human life after 8.4 million species, we must make the best use of it solely by undertaking devotion of GOD.
190. Among all saints, great souls (Mahatmas) and devotees, whoever has attained GOD has attained Him only by undertaking devotion.
191. Wherever saints immersed in the love of GOD sit down to converse about GOD with people, an invisible speaker's seat (Vyaspeeth) is automatically created right there.
192. Blessed are those whose mind becomes absorbed in the Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD, because there can be no greater support (Aalamban) for seeking GOD.
193. Our relationship with GOD should be the closest and the most supreme.
194. Saints attribute the entire credit for any favorable event solely to the grace and mercy of GOD.
195. When GOD used to go to the forest to graze cows, at that time the entire attention of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) remained fixed only on the extremely soft Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. They used to constantly contemplate that pebbles, stones and grass must be causing pain to the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD.
196. If we learn to contemplate the tenderness of GOD, then one day the realization of GOD will surely happen in our life. On the contrary, one who cannot contemplate the tenderness of GOD remains deprived of experiencing Him.
197. One should be firm (hard) regarding worldly subjects and soft regarding the contemplation of GOD. Saints keep their minds firm for the world and soft for GOD. By keeping the mind firm against the world, worldly subjects have no impact on the mind.
198. For one whose mental worship (Manas Puja) is perfected, all actions and prayers are performed by the mind itself. This is a very high state where there is no longer a need to serve GOD with one's physical hands.
199. A saint was blind, and his servant was performing the abhishek (ritual bathing) of the idol of GOD. While bathing the idol with Panchamrit, the servant was rubbing the idol with his hands, and there was a ring on his finger. The saint immediately shouted that GOD was getting hurt. Even though he could not see with his eyes, because GOD is soft and the saint's mind was also soft, he constantly experienced GOD.
200. If our heart is hard, we will see GOD in the idol as hard stone. Only if our heart is soft will we see GOD in the idol as living (Cheten) and soft.
201. Devotion of GOD is the only means for the softening of the conscience (Antahkaran).
202. The moment the thought of GOD enters the conscience (Antahkaran), our heart melts.
203. If the mind melts in the love of GOD, then devotion is possible only through such a soft mind.
204. Saints weep in the remembrance of GOD. Worldly people weep in the remembrance of their sons and grandsons. Both weep, but there is a vast difference between the tears of the two.
205. Just as a mother’s heart cries when her child suffers, similarly, when the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD would suffer in the forest during cow-grazing, the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) would weep.
206. GOD should be the most beloved in our life. There should be no one more beloved to us than Him in this world.
207. GOD Shri VedVyasji has presented the Gopi-Geet by compiling the different feelings of the minds of all the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD).
208. If there is anything most auspicious for a soul in this world, it is the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. The Divine Lotus Feet of GOD grants everything - Dharma (religion), Artha (wealth), Kama (desires), Moksha (salvation). The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) state this fact and the same fact is taught by Devarshi GOD Shri Naradji to Shri Dhruvji in his instructions.
209. If one meditates on the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD with any desire, that desire will certainly be fulfilled.
210. For the fulfillment of desires with expectations (Sakaam) and for selfless devotion (Nishkaam Bhakti), the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD are the supreme refuge.
211. Even if someone goes to GOD with a desire for worldly gains, GOD is still pleased because GOD thinks that at least they came to Him for some reason.
212. The Divine Lotus Feet of GOD are a treasure trove of auspiciousness. Upon taking refuge in them, only our well-being is ensured.
213. Saints say that in life, one must learn to bow down at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. By bowing daily with love at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, our rise (Utthan) continues.
214. Even Bhagwati Lakshmi Mata, the GODDESS of all wealth, prosperity and grandeur, always remains bowed at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. Through this, Mata explains the glory of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD.
215. To emerge from the jaws of adversity, one should take the support of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD in life.
216. Saints say that whenever any adversity comes in life, only one thing should be done, i.e, bow down at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD.
217. The grace of GOD is the ornament (Alankar) of this world. If there were no grace of GOD, we cannot even imagine what would happen to this world.
218. We are invaluable only as long as GOD is seated within us. GOD is the ornament (Alankar) of our life. When GOD departs from within us, the body holds no value.
219. Our existence is because of GOD alone. GOD is at the very root of our existence.
220. All the value of our life is because of the LORD of our life (Pranadhish), GOD, who sits within. All our worth is solely due to the living, conscious element (Chetan Tatva), i.e, GOD seated within.
221. Saints say that we must constantly contemplate GOD throughout our lives, due to whom we have all the value.
222. Even if our body, spouse, children or property give us happiness, they do so only because of GOD, therefore, one should never forget GOD in life.
223. Our existence is due to GOD alone. Everything in our life functions only because of GOD.
224. By reading Shrimad Bhagwatji Mahapuran, Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji and Shri Ramcharitmanasji, we attain self-knowledge (Atma-gyan), through which we can recognize GOD.
225. Devotees have always relied solely upon the trust and faith in the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD in their lives.
226. For devotees, the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD are the most important, because to cross the worldly ocean (Bhavsagar), their shelter alone is sufficient.
227. The Divine Lotus Feet of GOD provide profound peace and ensure our ultimate welfare.
228. The Divine Lotus Feet of GOD are the destroyers of both physical illness (Vyadhi) and mental suffering (Adhi).
229. Until devotion is integrated with any form of worship (Upasana) or ritual (Karmakand), it does not lead to our complete welfare. The principle is that for complete welfare, the presence of devotion is absolutely essential and necessary.
230. The solution to mental suffering (Adhi) is not possible through any ritual or formal worship. This is possible only through devotion.
231. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) had reached the pinnacle of intense longing (Vyakulta) for GOD.
232. Every living being suffers from one ailment that their mind has become trapped somewhere (in worldly attachments). All Holy Scriptures teach us to pull the mind out of there and fix it upon GOD, and devotion is the only means to achieve this.
233. The greatest enemy of the soul is attachment (Moh), and the only means to destroy this attachment is devotion. When GOD becomes dearer to us than anything we are attached to in this world, worldly attachment is destroyed on its own.
234. Both our actions (Karma) and our worship (Upasana) must be surrendered at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD.
235. We will forget all worldly pleasures when we drink the nectar of devotion in our inner self.
236. A soul remains afflicted by Adhi (mental suffering), Vyadhi (physical suffering) and grief (Shok), but as soon as one drinks the nectar of the inner self through devotion, all these are destroyed.
237. The voice of our inner self is the voice of GOD, but do we hear this voice ?
238. Saints can hear the voice of the inner self. The very words that Swami Shri Vivekanandji spoke in his Chicago address were heard by him the previous night.
239. An ideal devotee merges their mind into GOD and keeps it absorbed in Him.
240. The love of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) for GOD was so superior that, apart from the flute (Bansuri) of GOD, they never heard anything else.
241. Once the mind is absorbed in GOD, one does not need to force renunciation (Vairagy). Renunciation comes on its own because such elated ecstasy (Parmanand) awakens within that the mind simply does not feel like moving toward the world.
242. It is the nature of the mind to remain attached to wherever it finds pleasure (Ras), even after a long time. The mind will find the most pleasure in the contiguity of GOD, therefore, one should cultivate the habit of fixing the mind upon GOD.
243. After GOD disappeared, such intense separation awakened in the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) that even a small amount of time felt like an entire age (Yug) to them.
244. If GOD became invisible even for a fleeting moment due to the blinking of their eyelids, the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) could not bear even that much separation and would blame the very Creator GOD who made the eyelids, wondering why they were created at all.
245. There must be great intensity in our practice of devotion, only then will GOD-realization be possible.
246. The benefit of having a vision (Darshan) of GOD is received in proportion to the intensity with which one seeks that vision. For example, if two devotees view the idol of Deity for two minutes, but one has ordinary intensity and the other has extraordinary intensity, the result they receive will be different. One may receive 10 percent of the benefit, while the other receives 100 percent. Such is the immense value of intensity.
247. Devotees often have to endure much, even turning away from family and tradition. Bhagwati Meera Bai was even called a destroyer of her lineage (Kulnashini), and many attempts were made to eliminate her, but the height of devotion she reached was extraordinary, which is why she finally merged into GOD.
248. Shri Prahladji had to endure so much suffering simply because he did not do what his father wanted, he refused to stop the devotion of GOD. By not forgetting devotion, he attained GOD, and to this day, Shri Prahladji is known and revered as the crown jewel of devotees in the demon lineage, whereas no one even wants to mention the name of his father, Hiranyakashipu.
249. Devotion is the path of the brave (Shoorveer), in which one has to endure a great deal. Devotees face criticism day and night, and people even throw stones at them.
250. Family members and society caused great suffering to saints, but they endured everything. Because of their devotion, the same family and society later gave those very saints great honor and respect.
251. The form of GOD attracts the saints.
252. The words of GOD in the Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji attract the saints.
253. Those who walk on the path of GOD eventually receive Divine grace (Bhagwat Prasad), but along the way, they continue to receive signs of Divine love, which make them firm in the conviction that their path is correct.
254. Devotees experience glimpses (Jhanki) of GOD from time to time, which eventually leads to a direct GOD-realization.
255. When the experience of Divine love (Premanubhuti) happens in life, the mind naturally continues to become more and more absorbed in love for GOD.
256. The auspiciousness of the entire world exists solely because of GOD.
257. The Scriptures say that devotees have a special right (Vishesh Adhikar) over GOD.
258. Even in the state of separation from GOD, the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) remained concerned only for GOD Himself.
259. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) were more worried about the suffering of GOD than their own sorrow of separation. After GOD disappeared, they were concerned that He must be roaming in the forest and that His Divine Lotus Feet must be feeling pain.
260. GOD Shri Shukdevji says that even the weeping of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) was sweet because this weeping was for GOD, not for worldly enjoyments (Bhog).
261. The cause of the Gopi's (loving devotees of GOD) weeping was the longing for a vision (Darshan) of GOD. Saints say how superior this cause for weeping was.
262. There is no shortage of people in this world who weep in separation from a spouse, but those who weep in separation from GOD are rare, and they are the most fortunate of all.
263. Devotees always keep their conscience offered to GOD.
264. The Divine elated ecstasy (Parmanand) of being in the contiguity of GOD is supernatural (Alaukik). Once someone attains such proximity to GOD, the worldly pleasures of this world no longer provide any happiness.
265. Worldly objects remain available to devotees, but their minds do not find any taste (Ras) in them.
266. It is impossible for us to even estimate the intensity of the yearning (Vyakulta) that the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) had for GOD.
267. When devotees receive a glimpse (Jhanki) of GOD in their conscience, they experience elated ecstasy.
268. It is the nature of GOD that He immerses His devotees in an ocean of elated ecstasy by granting them His contiguity.
269. On the path of GOD-realization, GOD intermittently grants glimpses (Jhanki) and then separates Himself. GOD does this because the agony of separation (Virah) makes the devotee's devotion go from intense to most intense.
270. After experiencing GOD, the devotee remains in the contiguity of GOD. Even when worldly objects are available to them, they find no taste in them.
271. In devotion, after receiving a glimpse (Jhanki) of GOD, the devotee keeps weeping due to the subsequent separation, which increases the intensity of their devotion. It is this intensity of longing for the meeting that eventually leads to the experience of GOD-realization.
272. On the path of GOD-realization, GOD keeps giving us glimpses (Jhanki) just to give us a taste of His elated ecstasy.
273. Saints and devotees weep for GOD, but the world does not understand their weeping. It is just like a newlywed bride whose husband has gone abroad for a long time, and she tries to explain her pain to her seven-year old sister. The seven-year old sister cannot understand the pain of separation from a husband because she has never experienced it. Similarly, worldly people do not know the pain of separation from GOD because they have never experienced it. Therefore, when saints and devotees weep for GOD, the world does not understand them and often dismisses them as "mad."
274. The ego of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) was burnt to ashes by their weeping, and then, for the Maharaas (Great Divine Dance), GOD appeared among them.
275. A saint has written in their commentary that during the Shri Raas, GOD did not actually disappear, rather, He hid among the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) by taking the form of a Gopi Himself, because GOD can never truly go away from His devotees.
276. GOD is hidden within our own hearts, and we keep searching for Him outside.
277. Staying in solitude and becoming absorbed in GOD is the only way to find Him. Searching for GOD outside will not lead to Him.
278. Saints and devotees may undertake pilgrimages once or twice, but then their inward journey (Antaryatra) begins, and external travels cease.
279. To attain GOD, saints believe that solitude is the greatest university (Vidyapeeth), and silence is the greatest practice (Abhyas).
280. If any saint or devotee has attained GOD, they have done so only in solitude.
281. One’s absorption in GOD during devotion should be so profound that we even lose awareness of our own body. Saints and devotees, while trying to please GOD, eventually forget their own selves entirely.
282. True meditation of GOD is possible only while sitting. It can never be achieved while lying down or walking around.
283. Great souls, saints and devotees have undertaken very few pilgrimages because they did not journey externally to find GOD, instead, they undertook an inner journey (Antaryatra) toward the Divine.
284. Once saints and devotees found a place conducive to their spiritual practice (Sadhana), they never left. They remained there, and it was in that very spot that they experienced the realization of GOD.
285. Devotees have shown us the extent of the loyalty (Nishtha) we should have toward any one form of GOD. They become absorbed in that single form and remain immersed in it throughout their lives.
286. Saints and devotees never stop reflecting upon the Divine Pastimes (Shri Leela) of GOD in their lives.
287. One should learn about the spiritual practices (Sadhana) from the life stories of all saints and devotees, and then adopt whatever is useful for oneself.
288. A true devotee continuously reflects upon the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD throughout their life.
289. One’s path of practice (Sadhana) is a personal decision. By observing the lives of saints and devotees, we should identify what is useful for us and adopt it.
290. Due to personal taste and personal capacity, everyone’s path of practice is different. Just as when two birds fly in the same direction, even though their destination is the same, their flight paths are distinct, similarly, the paths of devotees differ.
291. GOD gives His devotees the experience of separation because the longing for a meeting with GOD increases due to this separation. It is a fundamental principle that the desire for union (Sanyog) intensifies after separation (Viyog).
292. Weeping in the devotion of GOD is the only true weeping. When devotees meet GOD, they weep in joy (Anand), and when they are separated from GOD, they weep in yearning (Vyakulta).
293. Even a fraction of the joy found in weeping for GOD cannot be found in the experience of gathering and enjoying all the worldly pleasures of the entire world.
294. Devotees have realized that the greatest joy lies only in weeping for the devotion of GOD.
295. Love based on selfishness is not true love, therefore, always love GOD selflessly.
296. Those who are Atmaram (those who reside within the Soul) do not love anyone else. They love only GOD, who resides within their own Soul.
297. If we cultivate the feeling of Brahma (Divine) in any object, it yields the highest fruit for us.
298. Devotees believe that the service of GOD is their only duty, and dealing with worldliness is not their work.
299. If you wish to taste the flavor of righteousness (Maryada), listen to the Holy discourse (Katha) of GOD Shree Ramji, if you wish to taste the flavor of sweetness and intimacy (Madhurya), listen to the Holy discourse of GOD Shree Krishnaji.
300. GOD considers His devotees to be His own reflection. Just as a child plays with his reflection by looking into a mirror, similarly, GOD plays with His devotees.
301. One should never love GOD with selfishness. Our love for GOD must always be selfless.
302. The voice (Vani) of GOD cannot be compared to any other voice in the world.
303. The well-being of the soul lies solely in the continuous reflection upon GOD.
304. Whatever we are capable of doing in life, we should do it all for GOD.
305. We should love GOD by leaving behind worldly affairs (Dunyadari) and worldly attachments. This is not a simple matter, which is why it is not possible for everyone.
306. Our ultimate salvation lies only in the continuous reflection upon GOD.
307. GOD grants His glimpse (Jhanki) to the devotee and then gives them separation (Viyog), because in separation, the continuous reflection upon GOD happens with great intensity. Just as a wealthy person whose wealth has been lost keeps thinking of the lost wealth constantly, similarly, after the glimpse of GOD and the subsequent separation, the devotee continuously reflects upon GOD, which leads to their very swift salvation (Uddhar).
308. In front of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD), GOD acknowledges that He can never repay the debt of the favors (Upkar) done by His devotees. This is the immense capability (Samarthya) of devotion that GOD Himself declares.
309. Breaking the shackles of the world, we must continuously keep our mind fixed upon GOD.
310. GOD confessed that He cannot repay the debt of His devotees, He expressed this in Shri Krishna incarnation (Avatar) to the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) and in Shri Ram incarnation to GOD Shree Hanumanji.
311. GOD says that He carries the debt of His devotees upon His own Head.
312. Apart from GOD Shree Hanumanji in Shri Ram Katha (narration) and Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata in Shri Krishna Katha, there is no one else who possesses such pure and refined love for GOD.
313. GOD Shree Hanumanji, throughout Shri Ram incarnation (Avatar), and Gopis (loving devotees of GOD), throughout Shri Krishna incarnation, never asked for anything from GOD. They remained free of desire and thus became the ideals of desireless devotion (Nishkam Bhakti) and desireless love (Nishkam Prem).
314. By putting their own lives at stake, GOD Shree Hanumanji and the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) dedicated their entire lives for the happiness of GOD.
315. To undertake devotion for the sake of one's own happiness or the fulfillment of personal desires is wrong. Devotion of GOD must always be desireless (Nishkam), free from any personal gain.
316. We make GOD a means for our own happiness, whereas GOD Shree Hanumanji and the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) become the means for GOD’s happiness. What a vast and remarkable difference this is.
317. Maharaas (the Great Divine Dance) is a subject of experience for realized souls (Siddha Mahatma) and true devotees.
318. If, upon seeing any filth or disorder at a Holy place (Tirth), a feeling of disrespect arises in our minds, we immediately incur a sin and an offense against the Holy place is committed. Therefore, one should never allow feelings of disrespect to arise toward Holy places and must always remain vigilant about this.
319. By visiting Shri Kashiji, Shri Vrindavanji and Shri Ayodhyaji, we can attain the merits (Punya) of all Holy places. Such is the significance of these Holy places, associated with GOD Shree Mahadevaji, GOD Shree Krishnaji and GOD Shree Ramji.
320. As soon as our vision changes due to devotion, we begin to perceive the presence of GOD everywhere.
321. Every tree in Shri Vrindavanji is like the Kalpavriksha (wish-fulfilling tree), and every stone is like the Chintamani (wish-fulfilling gem), because GOD sported there.
322. Saints consider the dust of Shri Vrindavanji to be not mere stone dust, but the dust of jewels, because it has received the touch of the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD.
323. GOD Shree Ramji and GOD Shree Krishnaji are both incarnations (Avatar) and the source of all incarnations (Avatari) because the Supreme GOD Himself appeared in His complete form. All other incarnations are considered partial incarnations (Ansh-Avatar) because GOD appeared through a portion of His Being.
324. For the Shri Raas (the Divine Dance), GOD Shri Shukdevji gave a beautiful analogy that the Shri Raas took place between the Swarnamani (the golden gem - Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata) and the Neelmani (the blue gem - GOD Shree Krishnaji).
325. Even the Demigods (Devtas) did not have entry into the Shri Raas. Therefore, GOD Shree Mahadevji, the GOD of GODS, took the form of a Gopi and joined the Shri Raas.
326. It is a belief in Shri Braj that there is only one Supreme Male Person (Purushottam), which is GOD Shree Krishnaji, therefore, all other souls exist in the sentiment of the Gopi, the loving devotees of GOD (Gopi-bhav). Even today, saints in Shri Braj live in this Gopi-bhav.
327. In the hearts of true devotees and saints, the Shri Raas continues to take place even today.
328. It is a principle that the mind can hold only one thought at a time, therefore, we should always keep the thought of GOD in our mind so that other thoughts find no space to exist there.
329. Until the very last moment of our waking state, the moment just before the first sensation of sleep, our mind should be absorbed in the contemplation of GOD.
330. It is only by contemplating the Divine Pastimes (Shri Leelas) of GOD that our mind attains elated ecstasy (Parmanand).
331. The blue color is a symbol of infinity. Just as the sky is blue because it is infinite, having no beginning or end, in the same way, GOD is infinite. This is why GOD Shree Mahadevaji, GOD Shree Narayanji, GOD Shree Ramji and GOD Shree Krishnaji are depicted as having a complexion like the blue (Neelambar).
332. During the Great Divine Dance (Maharaas), GOD engaged in the Great Dance (Maha-nritya), then water sports (Jal-vihar) and then forest sports (Van-vihar). The combination of these three is collectively called the Maharaas.
333. Everyone was so drawn to the Great Divine Dance (Maharaas) that the night of the Maharaas lasted for six months, and the Moon GOD (Shri ChandraDevji) forgot his motion and stood still for those six months.
334. The mystery of the Great Divine Dance (Maharaas) is that even though the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) went to GOD, the Gopa-men did not search for them. This was because they felt and perceived that the Gopis were right there with them, busy with their daily routines. In this way, all the Gopis were at home and simultaneously participated in the Maharaas. Saints have explained this to mean that for the Maharaas, GOD granted the Gopis a body of divine sentiment (Bhava-sharir). With their physical (Panchabhautik) bodies, they remained at home, and with their Bhava-sharir, they participated in the Maharaas.
335. Even today, true devotees and saints participate in the Maharaas with GOD through their body of divine sentiment (Bhava-sharir).
336. Even while being men in their physical existence, saints and devotees today live in the Gopi-bhava with their body of divine sentiment (Bhava-sharir) and participate in the Great Divine Dance (Maharaas) with GOD, because the Maharaas can only happen with the Bhava-sharir and not with the physical (Panchabhautik) body.
337. If the sentiment (Bhav) for GOD is intense, one receives a body of divine sentiment (Bhava-sharir) through His grace. Two things are necessary, first, the sentiment must be intense, and second, it must be constant and singular. If one keeps changing their sentiment, the Bhava-sharir never forms because it breaks before it can be constructed.
338. GOD has given the soul complete freedom to choose the sentiment (Bhav) through which they wish to meet Him.
339. We should anchor ourselves to our chosen GOD (Ishta) through one of the four sentiments, Das-bhav (servant sentiment), Sakha-bhav (friend sentiment), Vatsalya-bhav (parental sentiment) or Madhurya-bhav (love sentiment).
340. For GOD, no sentiment is small or great, GOD-realization can be achieved through any of them i.e, Das-bhav (servant sentiment), Sakha-bhav (friend sentiment), Vatsalya-bhav (parental sentiment) or Madhurya-bhav (love sentiment).
341. Madhurya-bhav (love sentiment) includes all other sentiments, the servant, the friend and the parental. This is why most saints and devotees embrace Madhurya-bhav in their relationship with GOD.
342. Whenever we reflect on the Shri Raas (the Divine Dance), we must always be aware that this is not a worldly pastime but a Divine Pastime (Shri-Leela). At that time, GOD was only ten years old, and He performed the Shri Raas with the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) using their body of divine sentiment (Bhava-sharir), while their physical (Panchabhautik) bodies remained at home. Therefore, saints and devotees consider the Shri Raas to be the most innocent and pure of all His pastimes.
343. Before the Shri Raas (the Divine Dance), GOD demonstrated His Divine nature by killing many demons, lifting Mount Shri Govardhanji and subduing Kaliya. Thus, after establishing His divinity, He performed the Shri Raas. It must be viewed as a Divine Pastime and never as a worldly one. Allowing any improper thoughts toward it is considered a very grave sin (Patak).
344. The Shri Raas (the Divine Dance) is exclusively for the highest saints and devotees to experience elated ecstasy (Parmanand).
345. If there were even a slightest trace of impurity in the Shri Raas (the Divine Dance), saints and devotees would not praise it so highly nor would they be so immersed in it.
346. GOD Shri Shukdevji, the crown jewel of ascetics, narrated the Shri Raas (the Divine Dance) with complete absorption to Shri Parikshitji and the greatest sages present. This itself shows the special reverence in his conscience for it.
347. GOD performed the Shri Raas (the Divine Dance) to conquer sensuality (Kam). Therefore, saints say that contemplation of the Shri Raas destroys sensuality.
348. Before this, GOD had already humbled the pride of GOD Shree Brahmaji and Shri IndraDevji, only Shri Kamdevji (the god of sensuality) remained. By performing the Raas (the Divine Dance), GOD defeated Shri Kamdevji and humbled his pride.
349. GOD chose not a fort, but an open field, in the autumn season (the most favorable for Shri Kamdevji) and at night (his favorite time), to defeat him.
350. Even saints, while living in solitude and away from women, often struggle to conquer sensuality, yet, GOD conquered Shri Kamdevji even while being in the midst of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD).
351. The Divine pastimes (Shri-Leela) of Shri Raas (the Divine Dance) is a pastime that conquers sensuality (Kam). Therefore, one who contemplates and recites the Raasapanchadhyayi (the five chapters describing the Shri Raas) destroys the sensuality within them. This is why even the most exalted souls constantly recite the Raasapanchadhyayi to eradicate their internal sense of sensuality.
352. The Shri Raas (the Divine Dance) is not a historical event, it is not that it happened in the past and is not happening now. It is a eternal pastime (Nitya-Leela) that is occurring even today. In the present, the Shri Raas is ongoing, and the most exalted saints witness this pastime daily.
353. Saints enter a state of Samadhi (a state of intense meditation) to experience the Divine pastimes. Just as a wave rises in the ocean and then naturally dissolves back into it, similarly, through the Divine pastimes, exalted saints dissolve into GOD while in the state of Samadhi.
354. If our consciousness becomes pure, we too will begin to experience the Divine pastimes of GOD.
355. No one to this day has ever discovered the complete nectar (Ras) of the Shri Raas (the Divine Dance). It is not possible for anyone to claim they have attained the absolute essence of Shri Raas. However, one who receives the grace of Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata obtains a mere glimpse of Shri Raas, and in that alone, they experience complete satisfaction because the essence of Shri Raas is truly that divine.
356. Exalted saints stake their entire lives, reside in Shri Braj, and spend their whole lives attempting to obtain even one glimpse of the Shri Raas (the Divine Dance) through the grace of Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata.
357. There is no spiritual path truer than devotion, there is nothing more auspicious and nothing more ultimately beneficial than this.
358. Daily prayer (Puja) of GOD should be performed regularly, and special prayer must be conducted on special occasions.
359. We should serve the Mother Cow (Gau-Mata) for the happiness of GOD.
360. The main purpose of ritualistic worship (Karmakand) is solely the happiness of GOD, therefore, all rituals should be performed only for the GOD's happiness and not for the fulfillment of our worldly desires.
361. GOD Shree Ramji and GOD Shree Krishnaji constantly engage in the devotion and worship of GOD Shree Shivaji.
362. Everyone knows of GOD Shree Ramji's Shiva devotion, but GOD Shree Krishnaji's Shiva devotion is also marvelous. GOD Shree Vitthalji is a form of GOD Shree Krishnaji, and GOD Shree Vitthalji holds a Shivling on His head, which reveals His Shiva devotion. GOD Shree Krishnaji is such a great Shiva devotee.
363. When the python caught Shri Nand Baba, everyone simply remembered GOD. The essence from this episode is that whenever a adversity occurs in life, we should remember only and only GOD.

372. The entire day of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) was spent in the constant remembrance (Anusandhan) of GOD. We perform worship of GOD in the morning and evening, but we must ask ourselves that does our mind remain absorbed in the remembrance of GOD throughout the entire day.
373. While working throughout the day, the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) would continuously sing songs of GOD's Divine pastimes (Shri-Leela). We, too, should cultivate the habit of singing the glories of GOD regularly alongside our daily work.
374. GOD’s flute playing was so enchanting that upon hearing it, the Devatas (Deities) and Siddhas (blessed ones) would descend from the sky, and their consorts would follow right behind them.
375. When the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) heard GOD's flute, they would become so captivated and mesmerized that if they were eating something, they would even forget to chew, swallow or spit it out.
376. The animals and birds of that region would become so enthralled by GOD’s flute playing that all their movements would cease, as if they had turned into statues.
377. After hearing GOD’s flute, the trees would bear fruit, and their branches would bend low as if they were bowing to offer their salutations to GOD.
378. Upon hearing GOD's flute, waves would arise in the waters of Bhagwati Yamuna Mata, as if she were becoming eager to welcome GOD.
379. As saints and devotees engage in constant remembrance of GOD, their consciousness naturally ascends to deep meditation of GOD.
380. When saints reach the state of Samadhi (a state of intense meditation), there is a complete absence of sorrow, because only elated ecstasy (Parmanand) prevails in that state.
381. The episode of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD) teaches us how to spend the time of separation (Viyog) from GOD. They spent their time of separation by continuously singing the glories of GOD.
382. Singing the Divine pastimes (Shri-Leela) of GOD is an excellent way to constantly remember Him.
383. The distortions arising from sound, touch, form and smell create obstacles in our remembrance of GOD. Our eyes, ears and nose desire to see, hear and smell worldly things. By engaging all of these senses in GOD, we can grant them divine bliss.
384. True Samadhi (a state of intense meditation) usually occurs for a short duration, which is known as Khandit Samadhi (intermittent meditative absorption). Even in the Satyug, most experienced Khandit Samadhi. Complete, or Akhand Samadhi (unbroken meditative absorption), is possible only through the devotion of the real-life incarnation (Sagun Saakar form) of GOD, because through devotion, the remembrance of GOD remains in our mind throughout the day.
385. The service of GOD Shree Laddugopalji is an extraordinary service because GOD is served here with the sentiment of parental love (Vatsalya-bhav). Waking GOD in the morning, bathing Him, dressing Him, offering food (Bhog), performing Aarti, putting Him to rest in the afternoon, waking Him again, and performing all these activities repeatedly, this continues constantly. The purpose behind all of this is that we remain continuously connected to GOD.
386. We should practice Yog not for health benefits, but to connect with GOD. Health benefits are a very small and secondary outcome of Yog.

389. In a state of intense meditation (Samadhi), the individual soul becomes one with GOD, which is why it experiences divine elated ecstasy (Parmanand).

391. Without keeping a form-based (Sagun) foundation, it is very difficult to absorb the mind into GOD. GOD Himself spoke this to Shri Arjunji in Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji.

396. The consciousness should melt for GOD, and it only melts through devotion.
397. Whenever we find time, we should sit before the real-life incarnation (Sagun Saakar form) of GOD and hum the compositions of the saints. In the path of devotion, sitting before GOD and singing devotional hymns (Bhajans) is extremely beneficial.
398. One should not even feel like leaving their Home temple (Thakurbari). There should be a sentiment in life that everything I have is right here in my Home temple.
399. Our entire love should overflow when we are before the Deity form (Vigrah) of GOD.
400. One does not need to go anywhere to find GOD. If there is devotion, GOD Himself comes to us because He is our closest companion.
401. If purity in life and the awakening of love for GOD manifest in our lives, GOD will appear before us.
402. Even GOD finds a scarcity of true devotees, which is why He is constantly searching for those who perform sincere devotion.
403. Such is the capability of devotion that the devotee can tell GOD that I will not come, You will have to come to where I am, and GOD comes.
404. Shri Surdasji and Shri Bilvamangalji were both visually impaired, but wherever they sat and sang the glories of GOD, GOD would come there daily to listen.
405. After observing many paths of spiritual discipline (Sadhan), saints have considered devotion to be the supreme path for singing of the glories of GOD.
406. We should have no doubt about when we will meet GOD. We should continue to sing His glories daily without letting our sentiment (Bhav) for Him to be broken.
407. When performing spiritual practice (Sadhan), one should pour their entire mind into GOD.
408. When we have a sacred view (Darshan), we should not see the GOD's Deity form (Vigrah) as merely a statue, we should perceive the living, present GOD within it.
409. Once the sentiment of devotion awakens in life, we should constantly express to GOD that You have bestowed a great grace upon me.
410. Doubting GOD in one's mind destroys all our spiritual efforts. GOD Himself spoke this to Shri Arjunji in Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji. Therefore, we should never allow any doubt regarding GOD to enter our lives.
411. We should sing the glories of GOD, that is, undertake Bhajan (devotional hymn) with a melted heart. We should not just sing, we should sing with such yearning and absorption that we become one with the melody.
412. The elated ecstasy (Parmanand) of devotion is like the lining of a garment. The outer cloth is visible, but the lining beneath is hidden. Similarly, the devotion itself is visible, but the elated ecstasy found within it remains hidden. That joy is experienced only by the one who undertakes devotion.
413. The degree of elated ecstasy (Parmanand) found in weeping with yearning for GOD cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
414. Saints who initially attempted to appease GOD through Vedanta and other spiritual practices, and who previously considered devotion a lesser path, realized its true nature in the end. They ultimately declared that all other paths are minor, and devotion is the crowning jewel, the most supreme of all paths.
415. Blessed are those who have faith solely in devotion. In their minds, no sophistry or arguments against devotion can ever take root.
416. Swami Shri Vivekanandaji practiced many spiritual disciplines, but when he finally engaged in the devotion of the Divine Mother, his Guru, Saint Shri Ramakrishnaji Paramahans, was immensely pleased. He felt that Vivekananda had finally arrived at the correct path, as Shri Ramakrishnaji Paramahans always held unbroken faith in devotion.
417. For devotees, the world ceases to exist because their own world becomes limited solely with their GOD.
418. One should consider oneself truly fortunate only when, having renounced the worldly attachments, one engages fully in the devotion of GOD.
419. In the temple of GOD Shree Mahadevji, Shri Nandiji is the symbol of Dharma (righteousness). Therefore, the rule is to first pay obeisance to Shri Nandiji, thereby fulfilling the requirements of Dharma, and only then proceed toward GOD Shree Mahadevji.
420. Just as demons (Asuras) infiltrate our society, they also infiltrate the interpretation of religious texts. These demons distort the traditions of Dharma and derive new, incorrect meanings and misleading directives from the Scriptures. We must always remain cautious of such demons and their messages.
421. That which distances you from the devotion of GOD should be removed from your life entirely.
422. You may try everything else in life, but in the end, the consciousness will find peace only by coming to GOD.

424. The most pure and unadulterated spiritual path is devotion.
425. GOD stayed in Shri Vrindavanji because of the love of the Gopis (loving devotees of GOD). GOD remained bound by the love of the Gopis throughout His entire incarnation period.
426. Among all the lands in the world, the land of Shri Braj cannot be compared to any other, because it has been the stage for the Divine pastimes (Leela) of GOD.
427. Saints believe that the land of Shri Braj is not merely a part of the earthly globe. Because these were so dear to Her, Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata sent the land of Shri Braj, Bhagwati Yamuna Mata and Shri Govardhanji from the spiritual realm down to the earthly plane.
428. Because of devotion, a devotee begins to live a life that is righteous (Dharmashil), beneficial to society and dedicated to GOD.
429. Only those who desire nothing other than GOD are true devotees.
430. GOD does not need to incarnate merely to destroy the wicked, as this is a simple task that He can delegate to anyone. For instance, in the Shri Ramayanaji, three beings, GOD Shri Parashuramji, Sahastrarjun and Bali, are mentioned as being contemporaries of Ravan and even stronger than him. Since Ravan had a boon from GOD Shree Brahmaji that only a human or a vanar (monkey-like human) could kill him, any of these three could have fulfilled that task without violating the boon as two were human and one was a vanar.
431. The primary objective of GOD Shree Ramji’s incarnation was to teach the lessons of decorum (Maryada) and provide guidance to the world (Lok-shiksha). The secondary objective was to meet His beloveds who desired nothing but Him alone. Throughout His incarnation, GOD Shree Ramji met many sages, saints, and devotees, such as Bhagwati Shabariji, Shri Kevatji and Shri Vibhishanji.
432. Those whose conscience (Antahkaran) is not purified are not qualified to enter into Shri Ras Panchadhyayi. Only those whose conscience is completely untainted and purified by devotion are entitled to participate in the Divine pastimes (Shri Leela) of GOD Shree Krishnaji.
433. A commentary (Bhashya) on any Sacred text means discovering and bringing to light every hidden sentiment (Bhav) concealed within the heart of the author and the speaker. Through their commentaries, Paramahansa Mahatmas and saints have revealed the sentiments hidden in the hearts of GOD Shri Vedavyasji and GOD Shri Shukadevji in Shrimad Bhagwatji Mahapuran.
434. Shri Barsanaji holds a special place in Shri Braj, as it is the birthplace of Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata, who is the beloved GODDESS of the presiding Deity of Braj, GOD Shree Krishnaji.
435. From the beginning of time until now, all sages, great souls (Mahatmas), saints and devotees have considered themselves unable to fully describe the grace and compassion of Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata.
436. It is stated in the Shri Devi Bhagawatji that Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata emerged from within GOD, embodying His divine opulence (Aishwarya) and power (Shakti).
437. Shri Devi Bhagawatji mentions that GOD first manifested Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata, and from Her, all other Divine Feminine Energies (Shaktis) emerged.
438. GOD and Mata are one, precisely because GOD manifested Mata from within His own being.
439. In every incarnation of the Divine Mata, GOD Himself has eternally been Her consort. When Mata took the form of Bhagwati Parvati Mata, She was united with GOD in the form of GOD Shree Mahadevji. When Mata took the form of Bhagwati Janaki Mata, She was united with GOD in the form of GOD Shree Ramji.
440. Not everyone is qualified to study Vedanta, but everyone is qualified to listen to the Holy discourse (Katha) of GOD, which is the very essence of Vedanta.
441. In every incarnation, the conscience (Antahkaran) of the Divine Mata remains naturally and continuously absorbed in GOD.
442. The Gopis (loving devotees of GOD), animals, birds and even the trees of Shri Braj are forever engaged in the service of the Divine Couple (Yugal Sarkar), namely Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata and GOD Shree Krishnaji.
443. GOD is the Master (Swami), and Mata is the Mistress (Swamini). They are two forms of the One, and the same Tattva (essence) expresses itself in both, therefore, neither is primary and neither is secondary, both are equal.
444. Shri Nikunj Leela takes place exclusively between Bhagwati Mata and GOD. There, no word, speech, or conditioned soul has any entry. Even the Ashta Gopijan (eight principal Gopis) remain outside, they, too, have no access to that inner space.
445. Saints have experienced that by meditating upon Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata, one naturally begins to contemplate GOD Shree Krishnaji, and by meditating upon GOD, one naturally contemplates Mata. From this emerges the realization that GOD and Mata are not two, but One.
446. In the Shri Raas (the divine dance), GOD multiplies from One into many to perform His Divine pastimes, and then merges back from many into the One.
447. Knowledge of Shri Raas (the divine dance) can never be attained through mere human effort. Only when GOD Himself chooses us and places His hand of grace upon us will we experience the realization of Shri Raas.
448. The service of GOD is the very gateway that leads us to GOD.
449. The world will never remember our worldly services, and they will eventually go in vain. Therefore, we should serve GOD, because His service can never be in vain, in any circumstance. GOD never forgets even the smallest service rendered by a living soul, He always remembers it.
450. GOD is always showering His grace upon the soul. Bestowing grace is a completely natural action for Him, there is no need to ask or remind Him of it.
451. Whatever necessary items a devotee needs in life will automatically come to them by GOD’s grace, as GOD has vowed in the Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji to take the responsibility for the devotee's Yogakshem (the acquisition of what is unobtained and the preservation of what is obtained).
452. We must keep our consciousness fixed on GOD. In Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji, GOD gives us the assurance that by doing so, He will remove every adversity and calamity that comes our way.
453. We should remain connected to GOD constantly, from every direction and at every level.
454. We should structure our lifestyle in such a way that GOD is never forgotten in our lives.

456. GOD is not met through any conditions or temptations, but solely and exclusively through devotion.
457. We should constantly say in our lives that GOD, I am Yours alone.
458. While we must continuously strive to improve our bad conduct and actions, we should always submit to GOD that no matter how bad or broken I am, I am only and exclusively Yours. Once we connect with GOD, evil and sin cannot remain within us, because GOD is the purifier of the fallen (Patit-pavan).
459. The remembrance of GOD's name (Naam-smaran) and the contemplation of His divine pastimes (Shri Leela) are the supreme means of devotion.
460. The words of sages, saints and devotees form a significant foundation for devotion because they have spoken these truths only after having experienced devotion themselves.

462. GOD bestows great honor and respect upon sages, saints and devotees.
463. GOD always protects the righteous (Dharmanishth) and noble souls.

465. One should never abandon the worship of Bhagwati Mata, for She bestows power (Shakti). Through this power, our mind, body and intellect become strong. This power is possible only through the worship of Bhagwati Mata.
466. The true meaning of silence (Maun) is never to speak unnecessary words in unnecessary places.
467. Throughout the entire duration, GOD never told Shri Karn that he was a Pandav. Just before the war, to bring Shri Karn into a state of melancholy and to diminish his enthusiasm for battle, GOD revealed that he was indeed a Pandav. When GOD had to remain silent, He remained silent, and when the right time to reveal the truth arrived, He spoke. What a beautiful definition of silence (Maun) we see here.
468. Devotees like Shri Akrurji may appear to be associates of Kansa from the outside, but in their conscience (Antahkaran), they are GOD’s supreme well-wishers and greatest devotees. Shri Akrurji obeyed Kansa and went to bring the GOD because he knew that if he did not go, someone else would, and by going himself, he could warn GOD about Kansa’s true intentions.
469. When Shri Akrurji set out to bring GOD, he contemplated GOD throughout the entire journey. He reflected on the rise of his fortune, wondering what great merit had awakened to grant him the privilege of meeting GOD. He thought about how he was being blessed with the direct vision of those Divine Lotus Feet upon which saints and Yogis meditate. He felt that the mere vision of GOD would instantly destroy all his remaining sins, and he recognized that he was about to achieve the ultimate goal of human life, which is GOD-realization.
470. Until now, Shri Akrurji had never seen GOD, and he had no prior acquaintance with Him. How, then, did such superior sentiments for GOD awaken within him. This happened solely because of hearing about GOD. From this, we derive the principle that keep hearing about GOD, if you continue to hear, love for GOD will certainly develop.
471. All the residents of Gokul traveling to Shri Mathuraji shared a single habit, which was discussing about GOD. No matter where their conversation started, it would immediately turn toward GOD, and GOD would become the sole subject of their discussion.

474. It is highly meritorious to connect your life to GOD in any way possible.
475. When the relationship of possessiveness (Mamatva) and intimacy (Atmiyata) awakens within our lives in relation to GOD, the sprouts of devotion begin to grow within us.
476. Goswami Shri Tulsidasji says to GOD that I say every day that GOD is mine, but one day, You (GOD) too will have to say that Tulsidas is Mine.
477. When GOD resides within our conscience (Antahkaran), He will naturally appear on our tongue as well. Then, we will feel a spontaneous desire to speak of, sing of, and chant the name of GOD.
478. While traveling from Shri Mathuraji to Shri Braj, Shri Akrurji gives us a principle of devotion that throughout his entire journey, he contemplated only GOD. We, too, should contemplate only GOD during any journey we undertake.
479. Devotees and saints tell the world that they are experiencing elated ecstasy (Paramanand) in the contiguity of GOD, and they invite the world to also experience this elated ecstasy. This is why saints and devotees propagate devotion.
480. Sharing GOD’s love with people is the most useful endeavor for the ultimate welfare of a soul. This is why saints and devotees have always done so.
481. When we repeat the verses composed by devotees with our own tongues, GOD is greatly pleased and He becomes manifest in our lives.
482. We must cultivate the feeling that "contemplating GOD will lead to my ultimate well-being" for the meditation to become a reality and bear fruit.
483. The glorification of GOD should be done by taking the words of devotees as our foundation. This is superior because devotees have tasted the nectar of GOD's devotion and have attained GOD-realization.
484. In meditation, one should visualize only the real-life incarnation (Sagun Saakar) form of GOD, because it is so wondrous, beautiful and pure that we cannot even imagine beyond it.
485. Devotees have experienced during their meditation on GOD that His Divine Eyes (Shri-Netra) are the source of radiating infinite ecstasy and joy.
486. It was because of Kansa that Shri Akrurji obtained the good fortune of seeing GOD. In this, Shri Akrurji perceived GOD's compassion and thought that it was GOD Himself who, sitting in the intellect of Kansa, had prompted him to be called. From this emerges a principle that we, too, should see the grace and favor of GOD in every direction.
487. Shri Akrurji reached GOD physically only after completing the journey, but in his mind, he had reached GOD long before. From this, we derive the principle that we, too, must always reach GOD in our mind first, and it is entirely within our capability to do so.
488. GOD is all-knowing (Antaryami), meaning He is the one who understands and knows all of our innermost feelings and states of being.
489. If we cultivate the feeling in our minds that GOD is placing His Divine Lotus Hand (Shri-Kar-Kamal) upon our head, even though He may do so physically later, we receive the fruits of that grace right here and now due to our intense feeling.
490. Meditation on GOD and the devotion of GOD are successfully attained only by one who knows how to perform them with intense feeling (Tivra Bhavana).

492. The hands and head of devotees are accustomed to a natural practice that wherever they see an image or form (Vigrah) of GOD, their hands automatically join in prayer and their head bows in reverence.
493. Devotees reach GOD through their feelings (Bhavana) long before they reach Him physically, even if the body reaches later, the mind arrives at GOD's Feet well in advance.
494. Because of the intensity of their feelings, devotees begin to perceive glimpses (Jhanki) of GOD during meditation.
495. To reach GOD through the mind is the very definition of meditation (Dhyan).
496. Devotees continuously perform mental pilgrimages (Manas-yatra) to Holy places like Shri Vrindavanji and Shri Ayodhyaji.
497. When devotion becomes perfected, the devotee begins to perform mental worship (Manas-puja).
498. It is incorrect for our mind to remain in our city while our body goes to a pilgrimage site (Tirth). It is superior for our mind to remain in the pilgrimage site while our body stays in our city.
499. The principle is that we are wherever our mind is, therefore, through the mind, we should always remain in the contiguity of GOD.
500. Saints and devotees send their minds to the places where the GOD performed His Divine pastimes (Shri-leela-sthali).

504. A true devotee remains immersed in the contemplation of GOD throughout the entire day.
505. Shri Akrurji traveled in his chariot while contemplating GOD throughout the entire day and arrived at Shri Gokulji before sunset. From this episode, we derive the principle that if we contemplate GOD throughout our lives, we too will reach GOD before the sunset of our lives.
506. If we have spent our lives in divine contemplation, the vision of GOD is assured by the end of life, because the essence of all spiritual practices is the remembrance of GOD.
507. It is possible to count beads (Mala), perform worship, travel (to pilgrimage) or listen to Holy discourse (Katha) without the engagement of the mind, but it is impossible to contemplate GOD without using the mind. Therefore, the contemplation of GOD holds the highest significance.
508. We should observe that often our mouths may be chanting GOD's name and our hands may be moving the count beads (Mala), yet our mind wanders elsewhere. We must pull this mind back and engage it in the contemplation of GOD.
509. If any spiritual practice is performed without the contemplation of GOD, then that practice is incomplete. However, if one contemplates GOD even without any external practice, that is superior. The primary practice of the Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) was contemplation of GOD. They performed their household duties with their bodies, but their minds constantly contemplated GOD. Shri Gopijan never counted beads (Mala), never performed formal worship, nor engaged in any other rituals, they only and exclusively practiced continuous contemplation of GOD throughout their lives.
510. In life, GOD alone should be made the sole subject of our contemplation.
511. Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) constantly contemplated GOD even while performing their worldly duties. The principle is that devotees continue to contemplate GOD even while fulfilling their worldly responsibilities.
512. A devotee engages their body in action and continues to fulfill worldly duties, but they fix their mind solely upon contemplation of GOD.
513. GOD has not forgotten the soul, it is the soul that has forgotten GOD. We have ceased remembering GOD, yet GOD always remembers us.
514. Just as a piece of rock sugar (Mishri) dissolves in the mouth while you continue to work, similarly, if you keep your mind and intellect fixed in the contemplation of GOD while performing your duties, the mind and intellect will, like the sugar, naturally dissolve into the contemplation of GOD.
515. The weight (intensity) of devotion is such that even GOD cannot bear it, thus, He allows Himself to be bound by the devotee's bond of love.
516. One should always contemplate the Holy Scriptures in life and love only GOD.

521. To love GOD with the heart and to contemplate GOD with the intellect, this is the very nature of devotion.
522. Shri Akrurji walked the path while contemplating GOD at every moment. He had never seen GOD before, but he walked while contemplating everything he had heard about Him. From this, we derive the principle that we too should live our life's journey while contemplating GOD, that is, contemplating whatever descriptions we have heard about GOD in the Holy Scriptures.
523. All spiritual practices are meant to lead us toward the contemplation of GOD and to help us advance further on that path.
524. GOD’s form (Swaroop), GOD’s Divine pastimes (Shri-leela), and our relationship with GOD, all of these should be the basis for our contemplation of Him.
525. One should contemplate these five - GOD's Name (Naam), Form (Roop), Qualities (Gunn), Pastimes (Leela) and Abode (Dham) and allow the mind to revolve only within these five.
526. GOD, who sustains infinite universes, steals butter from the Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) solely out of love. On one hand, He is the sustainer of the infinite cosmos, and on the other, He is so bound by love that He performs the Divine pastime (Shri-Leela) of butter-stealing.
527. The trees of Shri Vrindavanji were blessed with the fortune of providing shade to GOD, who Himself provides shade to the infinite universes. Therefore, Shri Akrurji bows to those trees, declaring them far more blessed than the Kalpavriksha (wish-fulfilling tree) of heaven.
528. Upon reaching the places where GOD performed His Divine pastimes (Shri-Leela-sthali), one should always perform Sashtang Dandavat Pranam (prostrate, full obeisance), as these places have the immense fortune of receiving the dust of GOD’s Divine Lotus Feet.
529. When visiting pilgrimage sites, one should read and listen to the significance (Mahatmya) of those places beforehand, only then will a sense of sanctity be created in our hearts for that Holy site.
530. There is a world of difference in one’s feelings if one visits Shri Braj after listening to the Shrimad Bhagwatji Mahapuran versus visiting without that preparation. This is because listening to the singing of GOD's Divine pastimes in the Shrimad Bhagwatji Mahapuran reveals to us the glory of Shri Braj and the majesty of the sites of GOD’s pastimes.
531. Knowledge of GOD’s greatness (Mahatmya) is highly beneficial in devotion.
532. Whenever one gets the fortune of visiting the temple of Bhagwati Kali Mata at Dakshineswar, one should cultivate the feeling that Bhagwati Mata Herself used to daily converse with Shri Ramakrishnaji Paramahans there.
533. There is no great achievement in one going alone to Shri Vaikunthji (GOD's eternal abode) after attaining salvation. True greatness lies in the devotee, through the strength of their devotion, drawing Shri Vaikunthji to come to them right where they are.
534. Through the power of devotion, saints and devotees transform their very place of residence into Shri Vaikunthji (GOD's eternal abode) itself.
535. Wherever a devotee sits, their heart remains filled with the remembrance of GOD. Conversely, wherever an ordinary worldly person sits, they are only reminded of the world.
536. The Holy pastimes (Katha) of GOD prepares our minds for transformation. It pulls our mind away from the world and directs it toward GOD.
537. Reciting or singing the praises of GOD’s Divine qualities (Bhagavat Gun-anuvad) is a primary pillar of the practice of devotion.
538. For the sake of obtaining even a single speck of dust from the Divine Lotus Feet (Shri-Kamal-Charan) of GOD, great souls and Paramahans stake their entire lives in spiritual discipline. Yet, GOD, by bestowing the dust of His Divine Lotus Feet upon the entire Braj Mandal, has, in a way, blessed the entire land of Braj.
539. With all His infinite powers, GOD resides in every particle of the universe.
540. If our spiritual competence is perfected through devotion, we will begin to experience the presence of GOD everywhere.
541. Upon seeing the footprints of GOD’s Divine Lotus Feet, Shri Akrurji bowed to the Holy dust there, yet his heart was not satisfied. He then took that Holy dust and placed it on his forehead, yet even then, he was not satisfied. Finally, he began to roll in that Holy dust out of pure longing.
542. In Shrimad Bhagwatji Mahapuran, GOD Shri Shukdevji not only describes and narrates GOD's Divine pastimes, but also provides profound commentary (Bhashya) throughout.
543. GOD Shri Shukdevji says that if a soul, upon attaining human life, awakens love for GOD, it is the supreme achievement of human existence.
544. True achievement is realized only when, after visiting GOD's Holy pilgrimage, seeing His form in the temple, and listening to and contemplating His Divine pastimes, the remembrance of GOD begins to flow continuously even while sitting at home.
545. True devotees are careful that their devotion does not become observant to others, they avoid showmanship. It is only the hypocritical devotees who flaunt their devotion before everyone.
546. One must allow the Divine feeling (Bhav) for GOD to awaken in one's life and should never suppress it, for there is immense power in that feeling.
547. When a feeling for GOD arises in the mind and tears begin to flow, one should cry. When a feeling for GOD arises and one feels like dancing, one should dance.
548. Saint Shri Ramakrishnaji Paramahans summarized the essence of his teachings in just two words. He said that devotion should be oriented towards Divine feeling (Bhavamukhi). He used to say that one should never abandon one's feeling for GOD.
549. True devotees never allow their feeling for GOD to be broken (interrupted) in their lives.
550. Only if the feeling for GOD continues to awaken constantly in our lives can we remain continuously absorbed in the love of GOD.
551. What kind of relationship we want to establish with GOD depends entirely on us. GOD has given complete freedom to the soul regarding this.
552. We can hold various feelings for GOD, such as the feeling of a father (Pitri Bhav), meaning GOD is our father, the feeling of a son (Putra Bhav), meaning GOD is our son, the feeling of a servant (Das Bhav), meaning we are GOD's servant and the feeling of a beloved (Kant Bhav), meaning we are the beloved of GOD. Apart from these, we can connect with GOD through any other feeling.
553. A woman had no brother, so she made GOD Shree Ganeshji her brother. After that, no obstacle ever came into her life.
554. A woman used to tie Rakhi (a sacred brotherly thread) to GOD Shree Ramji, Shri Bharatlalji, Shri Lakshmanji and Shri Shatrughnaji. She would lovingly call GOD Shree Ramji her brother.
555. A great soul (Mahatma) began to view GOD Shree Ramji in the role of his own disciple.
556. Wherever there is a void in our lives, we should place GOD there, and He will fulfill that void completely.
557. Worldly people often struggle to fulfill their worldly relationships, but GOD perfectly fulfills every relationship He enters into with a devotee.
558. A saint who had no son spent his life regarding GOD as his son. When that saint passed away, GOD arrived in the form of a child, performed the funeral rites and then vanished. It was only then that the saint’s followers realized that it was GOD Himself who had come to perform the final rites as a child.
559. The Scriptures mention five primary sentiments (Bhav) for establishing a relationship with GOD, but the saints have formed relationships with GOD through countless other sentiments. To establish these bonds, the saints did not even wait for the scriptural guidelines, they went beyond them.
560. Saint Shri Gulabraoji viewed Bhagwati Parvati Mata as his mother, GOD Shree Mahadevji as his father, GOD Shree Krishnaji as his husband and Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata as his sister and he served and worshipped all four accordingly. The principle is that a single person can be a wife to a husband, a daughter to a father, a sister to a brother, and a mother to a son. The soul is one, but it can fulfill many relationships. Similarly, we can relate to GOD in various forms and GOD has granted us complete freedom to do so.
561. There is nothing sweeter than the voice and words of GOD.
562. A soul must resolve in their life that I will engage with the world only up to this point, beyond this, I will no longer engage in worldly matters and will dedicate myself solely to the ultimate spiritual goal (Paramarth).
563. A moment must come in one's life when one realizes that I have had enough of this worldly existence, now, instead of the world, I desire GOD.
564. We have spent enough time promoting our family, our business and our social standing. Now, we must focus on the awakening of our own soul.
565. Living a virtuous life even while remaining amidst evils is very dear to GOD. GOD stated this to Shri Akrurji in the Shrimad Bhagwatji Mahapuran, and He said the same to Shri Vibhishanji in the Shri Ramcharitmanasji.
566. A soul who maintains conduct as virtuous as that of the Satyug (Age of Truth) even while living in the Kaliyug (modern era) is extremely dear to GOD.
567. The tender bonds of love are very difficult to break, therefore, GOD, too, never breaks the bond of love shared by His devotee.
568. Being emotional, GOD says to Shri Akrurji that I will go to Mathura, but what will become of my Mother Yashoda and the Gopis? I myself cannot break the bond of love they have with Me.
569. Our lives are truly blessed only when we cultivate in our own lives the same intensity of love for GOD that we witness in the lives of devotees.
570. Even though such immense love for GOD had manifested in the lives of Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD), when they were subjected to separation from Him, they did not blame GOD. They loved Him with such pure and guileless hearts that they never had any complaints against the GOD’s legislation (Vidhan).
571. Separation from GOD became a matter of life and death for Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) because GOD was their true life-wealth (Jeevandhan).
572. GOD was the source of illumination for Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD), and after He left for Shri Mathuraji, everything in Shri Braj became enveloped in darkness. The principle here is that when GOD departs from one's life, only darkness remains.
573. In His incarnation as Shri Krishna, GOD was supposed to leave for Shri Mathuraji in the morning, but Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) surrounded Nand Bhavan at night, fearing that He might leave during the night. This was because, in His incarnation as Shri Ram, GOD, constrained by love and duty, had to leave in the middle of the night, leaving behind the sleeping citizens of Ayodhya.
574. By thinking about the impending separation from GOD all night and crying incessantly, the eyes of Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) became swollen.
575. When GOD promised Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) that He would return in four days, they replied that for them, even a single moment feels like an entire age (Yug).
576. Describing the weeping of Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD), GOD Shri Shukdevji said it was as if the rainy season had begun to flow from their eyes.
577. Despite such intense anguish, not a single Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) asked GOD not to go. This is because their love for GOD was selfless and devoid of personal desire. In love for GOD, the absence of desire and selfishness is the greatest hallmark of all.
578. Love for GOD that is driven by the desire for one's own happiness is not true love. True love is that which exists for the happiness of GOD, and this is the kind of love Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) offered to GOD.
579. Things should happen only as GOD wishes, we should never impose our own decisions or desires upon Him - this is the attitude of the Gopis (Gopi-bhav).
580. While leaving, GOD gave His flute to Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata. From this episode, saints have derived the principle that GOD’s flute was meant to be played only for Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata.
581. For a true lover of GOD, the hope for GOD never fades. Therefore, even after GOD’s chariot left for Shri Mathuraji, vanished from sight, and the dust stirred by it had settled, Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) remained standing there, waiting in the hope that GOD would return.
582. Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) would decorate their homes solely because they hoped GOD would visit. They prepared meals solely in anticipation that GOD would ask them what they would feed Him. They served the mother-cows (Gau-Mata) with joy only so they could procure the finest milk and churn the best butter for GOD. They adorned themselves solely to be pleasing to GOD. The principle here is that every action in life should be performed for GOD and for the happiness of GOD.
583. It is not possible for devotion to exist only at times and then disappear. If devotion is present, it will be complete and it will continue to grow incessantly in life.
584. If we place GOD at the center of our lives, every activity of life will automatically begin to be performed for GOD.
585. Fearing that the news of their death might cause pain to GOD, Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) endured the immense separation (Viyog) from GOD but did not commit self-immolation.
586. A devotee constantly thinks throughout their life that may GOD not be pained by any of my actions. That every action of ours brings joy to GOD and not pain, this is, in itself, true devotion.
587. For devotees, the name of GOD and the Divine pastimes of GOD become the two main pillars for sustaining life. After GOD left, all the residents of Braj did exactly this. They kept chanting the name of GOD and kept singing the praises of the Divine pastimes of GOD.
588. The name of the intensely increasing thirst for GOD is devotion.
589. In the presence of GOD, there is both the solution to life’s problems and the elated ecstasy (Paramanand) of life.
590. Purifying one's mind completely and merging the mind, which is like the Holy Shri Gangaji, into the ocean that is GOD, is what is called devotion.
591. Even today, it is the experience of saints that the entire land of Shri Braj is filled with devotion of GOD and love for GOD.
592. The residents of Braj do not even believe that GOD is in Shri Vaikunthji. Their belief is that the eternal abode of GOD is in Shri Braj itself.
593. One who sings the praises of the Divine pastimes (Shri Leelas) of GOD gradually begins to experience the contiguity of GOD and the peace that comes from it.
594. Before leaving, GOD told Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata that He would surely visit once every month, but GOD did not specify the date of the month, so She waited for GOD every single day. Similarly, Bhagwati Shabariji’s spiritual master (Guru) did not tell her when GOD would arrive or from which direction He would come. Because the date and direction were not specified, she waited for GOD every day and from every direction.
595. While practicing supreme devotion (Para Bhakti), a time should come in one's life when speaking stops, pilgrimages stop, listening stops, meaning everything external ceases and the GOD-realization occurs within one's own self.
596. The sentiment of devotion is extremely dear to GOD. Once this sentiment of devotion awakens in life, even the supremely independent GOD becomes bound by the soul and cannot go anywhere, leaving the devotee behind.
597. After GOD left, Shri Gopijan (loving devotees of GOD) did nothing but sing the praises of the Divine pastimes (Shri Leelas) of GOD until their final moments. Even today, the saints in Shri Braj who live with the spirit of Gopis (Gopi-bhav) do exactly the same.
598. All saints and Scriptures have described devotion as the supreme means for attaining GOD.
599. GOD is the root seed and the ultimate source of the entire universe.
600. After attaining devotion, nothing else remains in life worth achieving.
601. Shri Akrurji experiences a sense of being blessed, realizing that the One he is going to fetch is the Master of the entire universe. From this incident, we derive the principle that we, too, should feel blessed, realizing that GOD we serve is the Master of the entire universe.
602. It is the nature of GOD that He becomes bound in the devotion of the devotee and cannot break free.
603. A devotee of GOD is never careless in life, because they know that in the path of devotion, the possibility of being led astray can arise at any moment.
604. Bharat (India) has been the World Teacher (Vishwaguru) for the entire world. Whenever and wherever the light of spirituality has shone on the world stage, it has always come from Bharat.
605. GOD Shree Krishnaji is fond of adornment (Shringar). In His incarnation as Shri Krishna, when He took clothes from a washerman upon arriving in Shri Mathuraji, He went straight to a tailor and had those clothes styled and decorated in vibrant, colorful ways for Himself.
606. GOD Shree Krishnaji is also very fond of nature. Therefore, GOD finds the adornment of flowers very pleasing.
607. Intimidated by the power of GOD, everyone behaves in accordance with the will of GOD.
608. GOD Shree Narayanji is fond of opulence (Aishwarya), so He is dominated by opulence (Aishwarya Pradhan). GOD Shree Krishnaji is fond of sweetness (Madhurya), so He is dominated by sweetness (Madhurya Pradhan). GOD Shree Ramji is fond of propriety (Maryada), so He is dominated by propriety (Maryada Pradhan).
609. All the dimensions of human life can be observed in the Divine pastimes (Shri Leelas) of GOD Shree Ramji and GOD Shree Krishnaji.
610. Among all the incarnations of GOD, only GOD Shree Ramji and GOD Shree Krishnaji are complete incarnations (Purnavatar).
611. In the incarnation of Shree Krishna, when Kubja adorned GOD beautifully, GOD, in an instant, straightened her, even though she was crooked in five places. From this incident, we derive the principle that whoever adorns GOD beautifully, even for a single day, GOD makes them beautiful for their entire life. GOD thinks that if He did not do so, what would be the value of His divinity.
612. It is the nature of GOD that even if someone does only a little for Him, GOD feels that they have done so much for Him.
613. If we perform even a small task for GOD, He becomes completely satisfied with it.
614. We remember the favors we do for others throughout our lives, but GOD never remembers the favors He does for His devotees, which is why He continues to bestow favors upon them incessantly.
615. GOD returns the small deeds or expenditures made for Him many times over because GOD cannot refrain from returning them, this is the nature of GOD.
616. By performing Dharma, that is, Yajna (sacrifice), rituals, charity and prayer, one attains happiness, but by undertaking devotion, one attains elated ecstasy (Paramanand).
617. By worshipping GOD daily, adorning GOD daily and singing the devotional hymns (Bhajan) of GOD daily, GOD purifies the intellect of that soul forever.
618. Once our intellect becomes engaged in the service of GOD, all the impurities and distortions of the intellect are automatically eliminated.
619. When love for GOD awakens in life, one begins to enjoy hearing about one's Beloved, meaning GOD. Thus, the process of listening (Shravan) about GOD begins in life.
620. Saints say that one who learns to find joy in adorning GOD successfully crosses the worldly ocean.
621. Through the continuous act of adorning GOD, the image of GOD becomes firmly established within the heart.
622. By fixing the mind on the form of GOD, the mind inevitably assumes the very form of GOD.
623. When we adorn GOD, the powers of GOD transform our heart.
624. Through the daily act of adorning GOD in the form of Shree Laddugopalji in Shri Braj, countless atheists have been transformed into believers.
625. Efficient and skilled leadership is visible in every single action of GOD Shree Ramji and GOD Shree Krishnaji.
626. GOD is simple and beautiful, yet He is also supremely valorous and mighty.
627. All the virtuous qualities of GOD can be witnessed through the Divine pastimes (Shri Leelas) of GOD.
628. There is so much sweetness in every single feature of GOD Shree Krishnaji that upon His arrival in Shri Mathuraji, He won the hearts of the residents of Mathura on the very first day.
629. Because of his fear of GOD, Kansa could not sleep, even if he managed to get a little sleep, he would see GOD in his dreams. The principle derived from this is that Kansa contemplated GOD until his very final night, and because of that constant remembrance of GOD, his ultimate salvation was attained.
630. A living soul should also consider every night of their life to be their last and spend it entirely in the contemplation of GOD.
631. Whether a living soul remembers GOD for any reason whatsoever, seeing that they simply remember Him is enough for GOD to grant them salvation, because GOD is so compassionate and merciful.
632. No matter where we are in life, we should never abandon the worship of Shakti, Bhagwati Mataji (Divine Mother). The worship of Divine Mother grants us moral strength (Manobal), physical strength (Shaktibal) and material strength (Dhanbal).
633. Saints believe that the best commentary on Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji is found by observing the life of GOD Shree Krishnaji itself. The life of GOD Shree Krishnaji is the ultimate commentary on Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji because GOD demonstrated by embodying it in His own life.
634. In the royal court of Kansa, the women present saw GOD as Kamadev (the embodiment of beauty), the men saw GOD as Purushottam (the Supreme Man of Excellence) and Kansa saw GOD as his Kaal (death personified). The principle derived from this is that GOD appears to everyone according to the sentiment and perspective with which they view Him.
635. GOD is accomplished in all arts, meaning GOD is the primal Master (AdiGuru) of all arts and skills.
636. GOD is the first Master (Guru) of all knowledge and all arts because the source of all knowledge and all arts has emerged from GOD Himself.
637. If we wish to attain GOD, we must stay away from the impurities and vices (Vikaar) of life.
638. Peace is the greatest strength in life. Whoever learns to remain peaceful in any circumstance will ultimately emerge victorious. GOD is the embodiment of peace (Shantimurti). The exemplary man of propriety, GOD Shree Ramji, picked up the bow with complete peace during the Dhanushyagna (bow-lifting ancient competition), whereas all other kings came thumping their arms and displaying their strength, only to return defeated. GOD Shree Ramji approached with supreme peace and effortlessly lifted the bow.
639. In Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji, GOD has described the person of steady intellect (Sthitaprajna) and stated that it is very difficult to defeat a person in life whose intellect is stable.
640. GOD is so swift that Kansa saw Him beneath the stage in the blink of an eye, and by the very next blink, saw Him leaping from the stage right up to his throne. Such incomparable swiftness resides in GOD.
641. The people of Shri Mathuraji felt that liberation from darkness was never possible due to the terror of Kansa, but GOD freed Shri Mathuraji from terror on the very second day of His arrival. The principle is that no form of terror can ever stand before GOD.
642. GOD stands with those who follow Dharma (righteousness) and adhere to principles and discipline in life.
643. In family, society and country, the country comes first. Society stands on the second rung, and the family stands on the third. Our mistake is that we look after our family first and think about the country later. Bharat Mata (Mother India) should always be paramount and supreme in our lives.
644. From a spiritual perspective, every citizen of Bharatvarsh (India) has the privilege of being a citizen of the greatest nation in the world.
645. After killing Kansa and his eight brothers, effectively slaying all His maternal uncles, GOD went first to meet His maternal aunts to assure them of security and respect. This demonstrates the immense magnanimity of GOD.
646. Upon reaching Shri Mathuraji, GOD brought pride to His father and happiness to His mother through His actions.
647. Good traditions must always be preserved. One should never break a noble tradition in life, because the destruction of supreme traditions leads to the destruction of a nation's culture.
648. For those who have realized the Supreme Brahm (GOD), the importance of external symbols like the sacred thread (Brahmashutra / Janau) becomes secondary.
649. During His incarnation, GOD demonstrated that great souls never trifle with traditions, rather, they always protect them.
650. GOD Shree Krishnaji performed all His duties throughout His life without ever assuming any formal title or position.
651. Both GOD Shree Krishnaji and GOD Shree Ramji overturned many thrones, yet they never accepted or occupied a single throne for themselves.
652. Through the life of His incarnation, GOD Shree Krishnaji teaches us that we should perform our actions (Karma) without desiring the fruits or rewards of those actions.
653. You will find countless people working for their own selfish interests, to accumulate wealth and support their families, but rare indeed is someone who performs completely selfless action (Nishkam Karma).
654. GOD Shree Hanumanji was neither a king nor a minister, nor did he hold any formal position, yet without him, not a single leaf moves in Shri Ramayanaji. This is the true embodiment of selfless action (Karmayog).
655. GOD Shree Krishnaji was neither a king, nor a prince, nor a commander-in-chief, yet in Shri Mahabharataji, not a single leaf moves without Him. GOD Shree Krishnaji held not a single official post, but His life stood on the principle of desiring nothing while wholly serving and assisting everyone.
656. GOD Shree Krishnaji accepts no titles or positions, yet He fulfills every duty with complete adherence to propriety (Maryada) and applies His absolute strength to the task.
657. We should follow the Divine pastimes (Shri Leela) of GOD Shree Ramji’s incarnation as a guide and learn valuable lessons from them.
658. We should deeply savor and enjoy the Divine pastimes (Shri Leela) of GOD Shree Krishnaji’s incarnation.
659. We should examine which of the virtuous qualities of GOD we can integrate into our own lives.
660. We should dedicate our mind, actions and speech entirely to GOD in life. May our mind forever revel in GOD, may our actions be like those of GOD, and may our speech continually sing the praises and glories of GOD.
661. We should absorb lessons and inspiration from all the characters and episodes within the Divine pastimes (Shri Leelas) of GOD.
662. In Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji, GOD did not merely preach the path of selfless action (Karmayog), rather, He fully lived it and demonstrated it completely throughout His Divine period (Shri Leela kaal).
663. Wherever GOD Shree Krishnaji went, He brought about a profound revolution and transformation.
664. When a living soul develops love for GOD, GOD fulfills and sustains all relationships with that soul.
665. The Scriptures state that no living soul can ever have a permanent relationship with any other worldly soul. Everyone's truly permanent relationship is with GOD alone.
666. After hearing the sacred words of GOD in Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji, one's singular and absolute faith should rest solely upon the words of GOD.
667. The entire life span during GOD's incarnation serves as the ultimate ideal for the welfare of the world (Lokmangal).
668. This is the foundational formula of the Shri Vedas that fundamentally, the primal Master (Adiguru) of all is GOD Himself.
669. A disciple's salvation is brought about not merely by the intellectual knowledge of the Master (Guru), but by the living principle of the Master (Gurutatva). Since GOD is the primal Master (Adiguru) of all, even through a worldly Master, it is ultimately the Gurutatva of GOD that brings about everyone's salvation.
670. All knowledge without exception manifests from GOD alone.
671. All grace without exception in life is received solely from GOD.
672. If we trace our lineage of Masters (Guru) back - our guru's guru, their guru, and so on - we will ultimately find GOD as the final Master in the lineage. That is why GOD is rightfully called the Primal Master (Adiguru).
673. Every bit of knowledge from every Scripture in the world naturally becomes available to devotees and saints.
674. Devotion of GOD should become an absolute necessity in our lives.
675. The strength of GOD's blessing is the greatest strength in life.
676. There is no greater well-wisher for a living soul than GOD.
677. Just as cutting the grass clears a field, but a single rain causes new grass to sprout once again, similarly, the moment favorable conditions shower down in life, new grass of worldly desires (vasana) springs forth. Therefore, one must undertake continuous devotion throughout life so that new desires never take birth.
678. During His Divine pastime (Shri leela) period, GOD even awakens love for Himself within the hearts of His enemies.
679. We too should demonstrate eagerness and longing to reach GOD in our lives.
680. Those who worship contentment (santosh) in life are truly blessed. Even if someone sits upon a royal throne, if they lack contentment, they will remain miserable, yet if someone dwells in a humble hut and possesses contentment, they are truly blessed. That is why the Scriptures consider contentment to be the greatest wealth.
681. GOD declares that those who are saints, whose lives and conduct are filled with goodness and gentleness, and who are supremely content, are the dearest to Him.
682. In life, we should always harbor a spirit of universal welfare (lok kalyan) toward everyone.
683. One who desires the well-being of all is dear to GOD.
684. GOD states that saints who are entirely devoid of even a trace of ego and whose minds are peaceful and steady are worthy of being venerated by Him.
685. A spiritual seeker who exercises control over their senses is dear to GOD.
686. Bhagwati Rukmini Mata is the direct incarnation of Bhagwati Lakshmi Mata. Therefore, it is traditionally believed that serving and worshipping Bhagwati Rukmini Mata bestows wealth and prosperity.
687. Shreeji Bhagwati Radha Mata is the personification of supreme bliss (Anand), whereas Bhagwati Rukmini Mata is the personification of Divine grandeur and prosperity (Vaibhav).
688. To obtain a noble and desired husband, the prayer of Bhagwati Parvati Mata is considered essential. Bhagwati Janaki Mata did so to obtain GOD Shree Ramji, and Bhagwati Rukmini Mata did so to obtain GOD Shree Krishnaji. The principle is that even today, maidens should offer prayer to Bhagwati Parvati Mata to obtain their desired husband.
689. The letter written by Bhagwati Rukmini Mata to GOD was a letter of complete surrender (Sharnagati), therefore, GOD could not restrain Himself. This provides the core principle that GOD rushes immediately upon hearing the call of complete surrender.
690. Our mind remains entangled in the temporary beauty of material objects, whereas across all three worlds, no one is more beautiful than GOD. The principle is that complete surrender occurs when GOD begins to appear as the most beautiful entity in the entire universe to us.
691. If a time comes in life when all worldly duties and obligations drop away and our entire focus becomes immersed in GOD, the Scriptures call this state the supreme duty (Param Dharma).
692. GOD should appear so beautiful to us that no one else in life ever seems more beautiful.
693. GOD should feel most important to us in life above everything else.
694. Truly blessed is the life of one to whom nothing appears more beautiful than GOD, and nothing feels more important than GOD. All saints have experienced this very state in their lives.
695. One who finds happiness in the superficial forms of the material world has not even begun true devotion yet.
696. There is nothing in this entire universe more important than GOD. Therefore, we should dedicate our lives entirely to the search of GOD.
697. The inner sentiment should be cultivated in life that GOD alone is truly our very own.
698. Love for GOD arose within the heart of Bhagwati Rukmini Mata because she heard about His divine form and virtuous qualities. Therefore, as a foundational principle, we must understand that continuous listening (shravan) about GOD gives birth to love for Him.
699. The very beginning of devotion must start with listening about GOD.
700. Saint Shri Tukaramji states that listening to Holy pastimes (Katha) is the definitive path of devotion. He did not say that listening to Holy pastimes is merely one of the paths of devotion, but rather said that it is the very path of devotion.
701. The Holy pastimes (katha) of GOD awakens the feeling of devotion within our hearts for GOD.
702. GOD states in Shrimad Bhagwad Geetaji that if someone tries to reach GOD through the path of knowledge (jnana yog), the path of meditation (dhyan yog), or the path of ritualistic worship (karmakand), there may be room for doubt. However, one who strives to reach GOD through the path of devotion (bhakti yog) certainly reaches Him and is liberated forever, there is no doubt about this.
703. Listening (shravan) has many dimensions. We should listen to accounts of GOD's virtuous qualities, the glory of GOD's Holy name, the sweetness of GOD's divine form (roopa madhurya), GOD's Divine pastimes (Shri leela), and descriptions of the sacred sites of GOD's pastimes.
704. The sweetest fruit for our eyes is that they should continuously receive the vision (darshan) of the Divine form of GOD.
705. Listening to the virtuous qualities of GOD makes us aware not only of GOD's supreme majesty and power (prabhav) but also of GOD's gentle and loving nature (swabhav). When this happens, love for GOD is naturally born in our lives.
706. Realizing GOD's supreme majesty (prabhav) reveals to us that GOD is the controller of the entire universe, supremely wise, supremely patient, supremely merciful, supremely wealthy and supremely compassionate and despite all this, He is forever accessible and available to His devotees.
707. Knowing GOD's supreme majesty, such as lifting Mount Shri Girirajji, dancing upon the hood of Kalia, and slaying numerous demons, combined with the knowledge that such an all-powerful GOD ate the tasted berries of Bhagwati Shabariji, stole the butter of the Gopis, and thus made Himself so easily attainable for His devotee, is a source of supreme joy to know.
708. Not a single person has ever been born who could listen about GOD and not be deeply moved or influenced.
709. A certain saint knew only three verses describing the virtuous qualities of GOD. Throughout his entire life, he continuously chanted just those three verses, and simply by chanting them alone, he attained salvation.
710. In the words of devotees, their devotion and unwavering loyalty to GOD are palpable, therefore, the words of devotees reach deep inside our hearts.
711. The words of devotees and saints emerge directly from their hearts, that is why they are able to reach the hearts of others.
712. The more one listens to the glorification (gunanuvad) of GOD, the more one's afflictions and sins are destroyed, and the mind becomes peaceful.
713. Spiritual seekers continue to listen throughout their lives to the Holy pastimes (katha) that glorifies GOD, because Holy pastimes awakens devotion within them and unites them with GOD, the very reunion for which the soul has been yearning for birth after birth.
714. Devotees renounce everything for the sake of reuniting with GOD, and even stake everything they have to attain Divine love of GOD.
715. Through continuous listening (shravan), a stage arrives when Divine love (Bhagwat prem) surges through our hearts with great momentum, and the mind reaches a state where it can no longer let go of GOD.
716. That living soul is truly blessed when GOD, moved by the feeling of devotion, desires to accept them.
717. Who is there who would not want to become of GOD after hearing about the virtuous qualities of GOD.
718. The essential nature of GOD and the living soul is one and the same. Just as water kept in a pitcher from Bhagwati Ganga Mata has the same properties and purity as the water of Bhagwati Ganga Mata Herself, similarly, GOD is Sachchidanand (sat, chit, anand meaning truth, consciousness and ecstasy) and the soul is also of the nature of Sachchidanand. However, the misfortune is that the soul has become entangled in the material world and forgotten its true Sachchidanand nature.
719. Just as a wave rising from the ocean, though appearing separate, is essentially of the ocean's form, similarly we are of the same essence (sajatiya) as GOD, not of a different essence (vijatiya).
720. Bhagwati Rukmini Mata always prayed that I want to meet GOD, I want to remain exclusively of GOD. We too should offer such a prayer in our lives.
721. Shree GauriShankar, Shree RadhaKrishna and Shree SitaRam are entirely identical. Saints even go so far as to say that first examine closely whether they are even two distinct entities at all.
722. We are of the exact same essence (sajatiya) as GOD. Therefore, we should choose GOD alone, and eventually, we will have to choose Him, because union takes place only with that which is of one's own true essence.
723. The greatest enemy of the living soul (jivatma) in its reunion with GOD is the false belief that I belong not to GOD, but to the material world.
724. All Holy Scriptures declare one fundamental truth that the living soul is of the Divine supreme element (Paramatma Tattva). We must keep this sentiment awake within our hearts that we belong solely and exclusively to GOD.
725. Every living soul desiring unbroken, eternal ecstasy (akhand anand) must mentally renounce the material world.
726. The physical body belongs to the material world, whereas the soul belongs to the Supreme Soul (Paramatma). Therefore, the body is born, undergoes changes and decay, and eventually perishes. Since the body belongs to the world, it ends right here in the world.
727. We constantly nurture and nourish the five children i.e, sound (shabd), touch (sparsh), form (roop), color (rang) and smell (gandha), making us metaphorically Shishupal. Because of nurturing these five senses (shishus), we remain trapped in worldly sounds, touches, forms, colors and smells. Therefore, adopting the attitude of Bhagwati Rukmini Mata, we must pray to GOD to save us from falling into the hands of these worldly senses (Shishupal).
728. Our ears want to hear many things besides listening to the Holy pastimes (katha) of GOD. Our hands want to touch countless other objects besides serving the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD. Our eyes remain eager to see many worldly things besides the Divine form of GOD. We must restrain all of these tendencies and direct them exclusively toward GOD.
729. All worldly objects and sense pleasures pull the living soul toward themselves. The soul must protect itself from these worldly attachments in life, and for this, devotion is the only remedy.
730. Saints have nowhere spoken of neglecting or degrading the human body. Instead, they emphasize cherishing the human body as an instrument (sadhan) and utilizing it to attain GOD.
731. Whatever material enjoyments (bhog) we indulge in within this world will ultimately end only in frustration and sorrow.
732. Even while knowing our own flaws and shortcomings, we keep getting entangled in them over and over again.
733. Our eyes are trapped in sights, our ears in sounds, our tongue in tastes, our skin in touch and our nose in scents. In this way, everything is entangled in the material world, and we must rescue them from there and engage them exclusively in GOD, only then is union with GOD possible.
734. Bhagwati Rukmini Mata staked all the merits (punyas) of Her life to ask for GOD. She prayed that not a single worldly fruit or reward should come from any of the meritorious deeds She had performed thus far, and that the sole fruit of all Her merits should be attained exclusively in the form of GOD.
735. We should not spend or cash in our accumulated spiritual merits (punyas) for fleeting worldly enjoyments. Instead, we should use our merits to ask for and attain GOD.
736. If we perform meritorious deeds (punya) and ask for worldly enjoyments (bhog), we will receive enjoyments, but if we ask for GOD's grace and devotion in exchange for our merits, we will attain that.
737. Bhagwati Rukmini Mata says to GOD that I cannot come to You because I am bound, so You must come and accept me. The living soul should also say the exact same thing to GOD that it is bound by its senses and therefore cannot reach GOD on its own. The soul should call upon GOD to come, liberate it from its bonds, and accept it.
738. Bhagwati Rukmini Mata says to GOD that very little time is left, so GOD should arrive quickly. The soul should also pray to GOD that very little time of life remains, so GOD should come quickly and accept it.
739. GOD is supremely valiant, supremely independent and all-powerful (sarvasamarthavan), therefore, GOD alone is capable of our deliverance. Thus, only when GOD accepts us can we attain our true destination.
740. Bhagwati Rukmini Mata says to GOD that I do not wish to become Your equal by becoming Your wife, I want to become Your maidservant (dasi) and serve You throughout my life. How exquisite is this sentiment of the Mata toward GOD.
741. We should pray to GOD that He place His Divine lotus hands upon our heads and take His seat within our conscience (antahkaran), and bestow such grace upon us.
742. We must bow our head at the Divine Lotus Feet of GOD, and pray for a place at His Divine Lotus Feet and pray for devotion of GOD, only then will life become truly meaningful.
743. In every spiritual path and tradition, the fundamental prayer is always the same that we may be united with our chosen Deity, attain devotion to our Deity and receive a place at our Deity's Divine Lotus Feet.
744. In Her letter of surrender, Bhagwati Rukmini Mata told GOD that if His grace is not bestowed, She has no desire to maintain or sustain Her life. The living soul should also offer the exact same prayer to GOD.
745. The soul must have an intense, overwhelming desire not to remain entangled in worldly enjoyments.
746. If we continuously call upon GOD in our lives, then one day or another, GOD will certainly shower His grace upon our lives.
747. If we become overly engrossed in worldly affairs and pursuits, we get increasingly trapped in them, and this is the path that destroys human life.
748. One who is entangled in wealth (kanchan), sensual pleasure (kamini) and worldly fame (keerti) will never be able to attain GOD.
749. GOD's grace will be bestowed upon us only when we do not fall into the clutches of worldly enjoyments and sense pleasures.
750. Saints say that keep yearning for GOD, keep weeping for GOD and keep pleasing GOD. This is the only path to attaining GOD.
751. Until we close off all other worldly paths of life, we will not be able to awaken the full energy and power required for devotion of GOD.
752. Chhatrapati Shivaji's army had climbed up a fort, but being outnumbered, they were losing and began searching for the ropes they had used to climb up so they could retreat. Then the soldiers saw that Chhatrapati Shivaji had cut all those ropes. Now there was only one path left which was to fight heroically and achieve martyrdom. Filled with fierce enthusiasm, the soldiers fought and won an impossible battle. Similarly, the living soul must cut all ropes leading toward the material world, only then is the attainment of GOD possible.
753. We must cut all worldly ropes through detachment (vairagya). The sentiment that - the material world is not my path, must be awakened in life and then we must walk upon the path of devotion with our complete energy.
754. The sentiment in our hearts should be that the material world is not for me, GOD alone is for me.
755. We should never abandon the path of GOD, only then, showing mercy one day, will GOD surely accept the devotees who walk upon His path.
756. Devotion is that which brings about the union of the living soul (jeev) and the Supreme Soul (Paramatma).
757. When a true devotee is found, even GOD cannot sleep. GOD continuously remembers that devotee even while in rest.
758. A devotee has such immense faith in GOD that, relying entirely on GOD's strength, they make a solemn pledge and sleep peacefully. Shri Arjunji took a vow to slay Jayadratha and went to sleep at night. Now, fulfilling that pledge became GOD's responsibility. Shri Arjunji slept without a single worry, while GOD stayed awake all night arranging how that vow would be fulfilled.
759. Whoever takes complete shelter (sharanagati) in GOD sleeps peacefully in life, while GOD stays awake and takes care of them.
760. Upon reading Bhagwati Rukmini Mata's letter of surrender, GOD immediately rushed forth with His chariot without even waiting to check an auspicious time (muhurt). From this, the profound principle emerges that for the deliverance of devotees, GOD comes instantly.
761. The debt we owe to the true Master (Sadguru) who unites us with GOD can never be repaid, no matter what we do.
762. To protect Bhagwati Rukmini Mata, her brother, along with Shishupal and Jarasandh, had deployed a massive army for Her defense, yet GOD carried Mata away right through the midst of them all. From this, the principle is drawn that because of devotion, GOD rescues the devotee right from the midst of the army of vices (vikaras).
763. The Divine character (Shri charitra) of GOD Shree Ramji in the Shree Ramavatar and of GOD Shree Krishnaji in the Shree Krishnavatar are both utterly incomparable.
764. Saints have described Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran as a Holy Scripture full of profound mysteries, because hidden secrets are layered within secrets in Shrimad Bhagawatji Mahapuran.
765. Saints say that desire is the cause of the restless wandering of the mind, and the restless wandering of the mind is the cause of desire. Both of these can be conquered solely through devotion.
766. No matter how much or in what manner we try, the complete destruction of vices (vikaras) from life is impossible through personal effort alone. The vices of life can be eradicated only through devotion of GOD.
767. I am not the physical body, I am the supreme Divine element (Paramatma Tattva). I am an eternal fragment of GOD. This is true self-knowledge (atma-gyan) and only souls endowed with such self-knowledge can attain GOD.
768. GOD Shree Mahadevji is the Deity responsible for cosmic dissolution (pralaya), yet He is also Ashutosh, meaning He is supremely compassionate and merciful, and the quickest to be pleased.
769. GOD is the father of Shri Kaamdev (the GOD of sensual pleasure), because in the Shree Krishnavatar, Shri Pradyumnji, who is considered an incarnation of Kaamdev, was the eldest son of GOD Shree Krishnaji. Therefore, if one wishes to eradicate Kaam from life, one must take shelter of His father, namely GOD.
770. There will be problems in life, and one has to live amidst them, however, those who take shelter of GOD find that these problems can no longer harm or defeat them in any way.
771. Our personal sorrow feels tormenting to us only until we take shelter of GOD.
772. Having all our desires fulfilled and never experiencing any sorrow in life, neither of these two things ever happens in anyone's life because there is perpetual discontent in the material world, and another name for the material world itself is an abode of sorrow (dukhalaya).
773. In Shri Braj, the sweet and intimate Divine pastimes (madhurya shri lila) of GOD are witnessed, whereas in Shri Dwarka, the majestic and opulent Divine pastimes (aishwarya shri lila) of GOD are witnessed.
774. In the realm of spirituality, we should never raise, ask or seek answers to any question that has no bearing on our ultimate deliverance (uddhar).
775. We should accept whatever is useful for self-deliverance (atma-uddhar) and leave aside everything else.
776. In the Sanatana worship tradition, we should gratefully ask each Deity only for those things that fall under their respective authority and jurisdiction.
777. Devotion is not a path of lodging complaints. Saint Shri Tukaramji's wife passed away due to severe poverty and lack of food, yet Saint Shri Tukaramji never complained to GOD. Instead, he perceived GOD's grace and thanked GOD for freeing him from worldly ties, as he now belonged exclusively to GOD and was detached from the material world.
778. Those who want only GOD in their lives and nothing else, having no demands and no complaints, have no need for any rituals or formal worship, and no debt to any Deity or sage remains upon them.
779. To draw those who desire only the Supreme Soul ever closer to Him, GOD continuously sends adversities into their lives. Yet those devotees harbor no complaints. They face losses in business, deteriorating health and the bereavement of wife and children, but they never complain to GOD because they know that GOD continuously sends adversities to His devotees solely to bring them closer to Himself.
780. A saint has expressed a most beautiful sentiment that one who relies on worldly hopes (asha) finds that GOD ruins everything for them, yet, despite this, one who relies exclusively on GOD finds that GOD becomes the servant of their servants (dasanudasa). This path is not for ordinary people. It is meant exclusively for exalted devotees such as Saint Tukaramji, Bhagwati Meera Bai, Shri Narsi Mehtaji and Shri Surdasji.
781. The living soul is fundamentally dependent on GOD (Ishwarasharan). Therefore, the ultimate goal of the soul should be GOD alone.
782. Those who desire only GOD are the very ones whom GOD desires alone.
783. In the episode involving King Shri Ambarishji, GOD told Sage Shri Durvasaji that there are some devotees who know nothing whatsoever except GOD. Such devotees are supremely dear to GOD. We know many worldly things and keep inquiring about them, but a true devotee never does so.
784. GOD sends all the fruits and outcomes in our life. GOD may make someone a mere instrument or medium, but the Giver is always GOD alone.
785. The Scriptures prescribe rules and procedures for every ritual or formal worship. However, no rules of Scriptures apply to devotion, because devotion is supreme (sarvopari).
786. GOD Shree Ramji and GOD Shree Krishnaji are universal leaders (lok neta). Two characteristics define their lives that their lives are filled with profound revolution (kranti), and their lives are utterly transparent.
787. Remembering GOD during favorable circumstances (anukoolta) is considered GOD's grace, but remembering GOD during unfavorable or adverse circumstances (pratikoolta) is considered an extraordinarily great grace of GOD.
788. How many tasks we manage to get done by GOD by saying that GOD, just do this one task of ours for us, and thereafter we will engage in Your devotion (bhajan). The living soul has always done this, continuously getting its work done by GOD, yet never engaging in devotion until the very end. GOD keeps fulfilling the tasks, but the soul still fails to undertake devotion and keeps assigning new tasks to GOD.
789. In times of adversity, one should always worship Bhagwati Mata. When GOD was fighting a twenty-eight day battle with Shri Jamvantji in a cave during Shri Krishnavatar, the soldiers conveyed news of this to Shri Dwarkaji on the twelfth day. Consequently, all the residents of Dwarka became worried about GOD's safety. At that very moment, Devarshi GOD Shri Naradji arrived there and advised that a nine-day ritual (anushthan) of Bhagwati Jagdamba Mata should be performed. The ritual was successfully completed, and GOD arrived safely back in Shri Dwarkaji, bringing Bhagwati Jamvanti Mata along as His wife. This was the fruit of worshiping Bhagwati Mata, and GOD intended to demonstrate precisely this through this Divine pastime (shri lila).
790. Just as using a matchbox to cook a meal in the kitchen is considered good, but using it to burn down someone's house is considered bad, similarly, advanced spiritual practitioners (sadhakas) utilize sensual pleasure (kaam), anger (krodha), arrogance (mada) and greed (lobh) for higher spiritual benefit. We, however, are unable to do this and instead fall completely into the clutches of these very vices of sensual pleasure, anger, arrogance and greed.
791. One of the primary purposes of GOD's incarnation is the establishment of righteousness (dharm). For this purpose, GOD Shree Krishnaji made the Pandavas His instruments (nimitt), and GOD Shree Ramji made the Vanar (monkey like ape) His instruments.
792. Not having done harm to anyone is half of nobility. Complete nobility is attained when we have not only done harm to no one, but have also actively worked for the welfare of everyone. Religion (Dharm) does not consider it right to depart from this world without having done some good or the other.
793. Engaging in devotion of GOD oneself and propagating the devotion of GOD become the primary purpose of a devotee's life.
794. GOD destroyed the wicked, but He never took away their kingdoms, instead, He handed over the kingdom to their rightful heirs. This is such a great and noble ideal set by GOD.
795. GOD understands the inner agony and pain of everyone's mind.
796. When GOD in Shree Krishnavtaar (incranation) freed 16,100 maidens from the demon's prison and accepted them, the moment GOD accepted them, those maidens attained the status of Mata and received both honor and security. From this, the profound principle emerges that whenever GOD accepts a living soul, it receives ultimate honor and security.
797. The inner consciousness (antahkaran) of great souls is never comprehended by mean-minded persons, it is understood only by noble individuals.
798. GOD always considers and cares for His devotees with immense empathy.
799. One day or another, the entire world will have to accept all the spiritual principles of Bharatvarsh (India), because the principles of Bharatvarsh are so profound and powerful.
800. GOD Shree Krishnaji teaches us happiness and laughter through His Divine pastimes (shri lila). GOD wishes to impart the fundamental message that one should remain joyful throughout life.
